Ate here for dinner with my hubby pre cruise back in April. We were staying at the Sonesta a few doors down. I love trip advisor when I travel and this place rated very well. We had the Pulpo Saltado for an appetizer, seafood Paella(arroz con Mariscos) and plancha Marina and everything was exceptional. Food was seasoned perfectly and the sauces were just right-spicy and complex. We are seafood people. Live in a coastal city in Northeast and I think have some of the best restaurants around for seafood and this place definitely ranked right up there was one of the better seafood meals we've had lifetime. The octopus was terrific. Don't miss this place.Hello lisac1962!It is absolutely amazing and encouraging to receive such a comment like yours. We are certainly trying our best to provide the best quality peruvian cuisine to our beloved customers and the freshest seafood around. Of course, you have tried some of our dishes, but we are eager to show you more, so we will be waiting your soon return! It will be our pleasure to serve you again! Have a wonderful day! :D

Very popular and trendy spot that you can go to spend money and be seen. The food is nothing to write home about nor is the price. We usually go when there is a special occasion like a birthday that someone is having. Otherwise, meh...better Mexican is found elsewhere.

first visit to a place I have wanted to go for quite awhile. we ordered 2 cubano sandwiches, plus rice/beans. very big sandwich, quite good. surprised that there was quite a bit of seating, all outside (I believe). on street, bar stools at counter. very colorful place, music could have been a bit more Latin for my taste, and very nice waitress. not a comfy upscale place, but outstanding food.

We were warmly greeted and showed to a lovely table. The lamb chops were delicious and the skirt steak special was equally delicious. We had the yellow tail roll, which was made with a tortilla, as an appetizer. The tortilla just didn't hit the mark - the remainder of the roll was very flavorful - but the tortilla just didn't help to elevate it. (It would have been better w/o)The wine list is good and has nice value. Dessert was the decadent brownie and yummy ice cream - amazing. The presentation on all items was top notch. It's pricey - our meal with tip was just under $200; but, before you think that's too high, please realize that the food is fresh and VERY well prepared. There is tremendous attention to detail, and the service staff is professional and well-trained - and all of this makes a memorable "dining experience". It's a lovely restaurant for a romantic dinner.

First time solo dining here. Ordered the tamale and chicken breast. Wow, a lot of food. The tamale is giant loaded with pork, masa & onions. A meal in itself. The grilled chicken breast with sautéed onions was good, but the tamale was great. Add the plantains, rice & black beans were all good. Too much food, so the to go made it 3 meals. Service was pleasant as he went out of his way to allow me to try another dish. Everything was good, oh did I mention the tamale was great. Prices on par. Would definitely return.

We arrived before opening due to confusion regarding Veteran's Day operating hours. When the manager politely asked us to come back in half an hour, we explained that we'd booked a river cruise and would have to go elsewhere. He told us to have a seat outdoors and not to worry. A waitress materialized with menus, napkins and silverware and in no time we were served a delicious lunch. The causas (three chicken, three tuna) were out of this world, and the aji de gallina was so amazing I've ordered the spices so I can make it myself! My companions, locals who had been to SuViche before, raved about their saltado and sushi. This was a fine example of a restaurant manager going the extra mile and he and his staff deserve praise. Fabulous lunch and we made our cruise with time to spare!

My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant after disembarking from our cruise. The ambiance looked very inviting so we gave it a shot. We were greeted and seated right away, our beautiful waitress Gernie quickly brought us some complimentary chips and salsa which was soooooo tasty. She also went over the menu with us and answered all of our questions. We decided to order the steak tacos which came with rice and beans and the roasted chicken rajas quesadillas. Both meals were very flavorful with just the right portion. This was a great spot that we discovered, the food was reasonably priced, I would definitely recommend it for the Mexican food lovers or anyone wanting to explore different flavors. The atmosphere was very friendly and the service was great. My husband and I accidentally forgot to swipe our credit card and almost left without paying But Gernie was so professional she never made a big scene she simply reminded us and we were able to pay and get our bill taken care of right away. Such super customer service...hats off to this establishment.
