Reviews on Latin food in Barranquilla, Atlantico Department, Colombia. Vibrant Barranquilla is the epicenter of Carnival,a four-day festival of food, music, dance and beautiful party people. For the other 361 days of the year, the fourth-largest city in Colombia offers plenty of opportunities to pursue a balance of epic nightlife and historic sightseeing. The churches alone are their own festivals of architecture, and the impressive Museum of the Caribbean is a great source of political, cultural and social context.

Positioned today as the best Mexican food restaurant in town, at Benito Juarez Tex Mex & Margaritas, we are pioneers in the concept of fast Mexican food, with creative dishes, lots of ingredients, and that secret something that makes every single of our C
For fast food it was adequate, however we normally avoid fast food places. I must have missed the description that said it was fast food! Having lived in Texas and Mexico it was disappointing. It was convenient for our hotel though. The fajitas tasted as if they were cooked in a wok with a sweet sauce, rather than grilled. The mixed plate was almost all fried food. Not cheap either. Beer was twice the price of every other restaurant/cafe we have been to in Barranquilla.

This is the best Peruvian food restaurant in Barranquilla. The food is delicious and the owners take excellent care of the restaurant and service. I highly recommend it! My favorite dish was arroz chaufa and for dessert "suspiro Limeño". However everything they prepare is really delicious!

Somos La Panatta. Un grupo de pizzeros dedicados a crear las mas deliciosas pizzas artesanales de distintos rincones del mundo.
I loved this place the day they opened, but since then they have improved the place by making it more enclosed, adding aircon and cutting out all the traffc noises that used to interfere slightly with the ambiance.Great pizzas, really crispy bases, fresh and delcious. They also have a lot of special discount offfers to keep prices lowPLUS they sell BBC beers and are open evenings as well as lunchtime,

Before going there many people recommended this restaurant, but it was not what I expected. to be local food I expected better quality. The seafood casserole was very striking but without flavor, the cucayo seemed very toasted and did not seem to be fresh. However, the "bistec a caballo" was delicious. very good attention but they should improve the quality of the food since the menu is very eye-catching but I expected more.

We are a flavor story that you have to live.
Food good! Deserve need to be upgrade! Wine prices are too expensives!!! The restaurant is nice and the services very good. I think need to be careful with the wine price to make the place more competitive.Hello jflavio_m, thank you for sharing details of your experience. We will consider your suggestion to improve our service.

Cocina33 is a favorite among most of my local friends; always suggested when the "where should we go for a nice dinner" question is asked. Clustered with other nice restaurants, Cocina33 offers a very warm and intimate two rooms, with comfortable surroundings and a somewhat limited, but balanced variety of dishes. Its Italian-inspired more than truly Italian. The pulpo (octopus) appetizer was very good as was the risotto. The steaks we had (each with different sauces - the peppercorn is a bit more flavorful than the dijon), were cooked correctly and served hot. The seared encrusted tuna was very good, too. In fact, everything we ordered was good...it just was not memorable! The flavors were all a bit bland by my estimation - something that some of our other guests remarked on, too.Wine list is great, by the way. Good values to be had and enjoyed with your meal. Our service was like the food - above average but not distinguished. This is not a bad thing - but, it depends on what you want on a night out in Barranquilla. If you're traveling from the States, Cocina33 is a bargain, if you live in Colombia it's very pricey for the quality of food.If you're looking for a wow night - I'm not sure this is the place. If you're looking for a consistent/safe place, Cocina33 will work.

Went to lunch with some friends for my birthday. Wow. What an amazing experience. Food was great, service exceptional and fast. Decor very tastefully done. A really upmarket restaurant. Definitely a place for group gatherings. The table we sat at was decorated with mirrors above it. This made for interesting photographs. Food was very interesting with new dishes to Barranquilla. Great selection on drink choices...did not ask for the dessert menu as I was already full from starters and main. Hope this restaurant will be here for a while.

Some complain about the prices but I find decent value for money when you consider the high quality food and drinks at Cuzco! Good service, great food, nice atmosphere with live music. The Peruvian food is creative and as good as any Peruvian food anywhere. I have been there with my wife, with my family and I have also taken work colleagues there.
