Building was renovated from a bank built in 1925. The atmosphere was magnificent but relaxed, staff’s service was perfect. They have amazing dinner and breakfast using local product. It was an amazing stay and definitely will be back for another occasion!

We had a western room with 4 single beds, the village is relatively quiet good for a get away from the city crowd. The onsen is good, and the interesting and fun thing to do is have a good meal at the tore tore market. fresh seafood and bbq.

Built 50 years ago, and once used as residence by the local people in Yasaka, Kyoto, this hotel inherited that history and renovated the building for a new start. 【ROOMS 】RC HOTEL KYOTO YASAKA offers guest rooms with three themes "Green," "Folk Handicraft," and "Art." 【BAR】 The bar is located right next to the Reception Desk. We have various kinds of local Kyoto beer and sake. Please relax at the end of the day. 【ACCESS】 From Kyoto Station, Take bus 202, 206, 207, or 100. Get off at the “Kiyomizu Michi” stop. Enter the street named “Yasaka-Dori” to the east, after 200 meters beyond the Yasaka Pagoda (Hoganji Temple); the hotel is on your right.
Very unusual hotel - great fun - huge rooms, fabulous views, gorgeous space. It's a bit weird that they don't change the sheets (we were there for three days) but then again, I don't need clean sheets every day when I am at home! Really nice products in the bathroom. Great area, but very very quiet at night.

Stayed here not knowing much about Kobe, but for a single traveller I was ideal with the famous gardens which is a 5 minute walk to the gondola which takes you above the city sky line. Good walking distance for bars and restaurants. Would stay here again, unfortunately I couldn’t as they ran out of rooms. Next time for sure!

I lived at Fujitaya from March to December 2021. Covid was a bleak time but it gave me the chance to gain a Japanese family. I will always be grateful to Masa san and Saki chan for all the glorious memories, the events, the friends I've met thre. I'll be back!

The hotel is very close to the AirPort (4 min walk), but is in a noisy neighbourhood (lots of noise at night and bad sound insulation). It is below expectations, not as modern and fresh as expected and seen on the pictures. The pictures showed a modern and fresh room but I did not feel comfortable in our €100 room.

Very hot in summer and we couldn't stay there with a toddler for long outside. Make sure you bring mosquito repellent or wear long sleeves. Very nice shops around the area where we spent more time there than the Sagano

Arrived at train station while raining. The visitor center assisted by calling the hotel’s shuttle van which arrived very promptly. It was immediately after the golden holiday week and the hotel was very vacant. We were treated like royalties with lucky hoop game/prizes, excellent Japanese dinners and breakfasts and a very huge room with spare Japanese style dining cum bedroom besides a kitchenette, 6 person dining table and nice comfortable beds. The in house Onsens (hot spring baths) are excellent easily accessible. The hotel shuttle even took us to the cable car going to the mountain top which offers excellent views of the town. Although about 15 mins by shuttle from town, the service was very prompt and always available. We had a great time and definitely recommend this hotel. Ms Shima who speaks some English even sent us off outside the building with a deep Japanese bow when we left. This made us stay very memorable.

This hotel is located very near to Osaka Tsutenkaku Tower. Around the hotel is many restaurants and also near the zoo. So you don't have to worry about food and also tourist attractions. You can also walk to Nipponbashi-Shinsaibashi within 20 minutes. You will get breakfast for free (rice, bread, fried noodles, egg). Room condition is OK, clean and quite fast wi-fi. Anyway, this hotel is recommended if you stay in Osaka.

Friendly staff, clean and well kept rooms. Breakfast available if requested. Laundry and onsen services very easy to use. Only downside being a non Smoker is that at times the hotel was quite smoky, due to catering to smokers.
