新山口駅前の便利な場所です。親戚の会席で和食コースでした。ひと皿づつの懐石料理で、どれも美味しく会話も弾みます。個室で利用できるのがいいです。

We chanced upon the pub as it was near the hotel we were living in, and extremely close to the shinkansen station. Place is small but not cramped, you can sit comfortably at the bar counters.Some of the menu had pictures, which made it easy for us to order.The staff did not speak english but still took our orders efficiently and in a fuss-free manner. They generally leave you alone but respond really quickly when you are ready to order or pay, making it a really enjoyable time.Quality of food is decent. You will need to wait a little bit for most of the dishes as it is cooked only upon ordering.

チキンカツ定食(税別590円)をいただきました。結構大きめのチキンカツが揚げたてで出されますので、サクサクした食感で美味しくいただけます。タルタルもありますが、自分の好みはソース味です。味噌汁とご飯、たっぷりのキャベツが付いていますので、ランチとしては十分です。

瑠璃光寺近くにあるそば屋です。１１時に開店しました。名物は酢飯のかわりに、そばをつかった巻き寿司のそば寿司です。やや酸味のあるタレにつけて食べますが美味しかったです。ざるそばかかけそばがついたセットが人気でした。

親類の顔合わせにて伺いました。店内に水の流れる壁があり、風水的に良いとされている装置がありました。季節の材料をうまく調理してあり、好感触でした。サービスプレゼンテーションともに良好です。夏でしたので、フグの刺身は、土地からでてきました。また、ジュンサイ、鱧の湯引き（梅のたれでないので私的には最良）、クジラのおばいけなど山口らしいものも多く良かった。

吉敷西交差点から南東に300mほど行ったところにあるうどん店です。讃岐うどんの流れですが、麺は太くなくコシがしっかりしていて美味しいです。天婦羅やおにぎりは、作り置きのものから好きなものをいただきます。醤油(温)うどん、かき揚げ天、おにぎりをいただきました。ワンコイン程度のランチにできました。うどんが茹で上がるまで番号札をもって待ちます。コシがしっかりしたうどんでした。

This restaurant had a very good atmosphere. Music is playing and the the staff's harmony are especially wonderful. There is 'Kawara soba' which is the local dish in Yamaguchi. It has quite a lot of impact. If you have a instaguram, you will be able to get a lot of 'like' from your followers. Please examine the dish when you receive 'Kawara soba'. Don't examine the meaning of 'Kawara' beforhand, you will certainly be surprised at 'Kawara soba'.

This restaurant is located on JR Shin-Yamaguchi Stn side, opposite to the Shinkansen platforms. We arrived about 6pm n were fortunate to be given a counter seat that had been reserved for a later time.The sashimi were excellent. The uni were a tad small but very sweet. Tempura n soya sauce stewed fish were excellent too.Service was excellent too. One of the girls, from the family that runs the restaurant, speaks good English n was a big help with ordering.Will definitely come back for more.

磯くらには昔、「長州藩茶屋臨野堂」というのがあったようで、他藩からの来客接客所だったそうだが、幕末には高杉晋作や吉田松陰・桂小五郎の密議の場として利用されていたようです。お店の中へ。先程の「長州藩茶屋臨野堂」の説明で知れば、このお店に幕末のロマンを感じないでもない。メニューには吉田松陰先生。青はドリンクメニュー。赤は食べ物のメニュー。磯くらで提供されるのは山口県産がメインの食材を使用し、新鮮食材そのものの持ち味を活かした炭火焼、刺身など素材を活かすお料理にして提供している。

新山口駅前のホテルアクティブに宿泊したので、夕食は１階にある回転寿したかくらさんで摂りました。お皿の色（180円～600円）でお値段がわかります。地の新鮮な縞アジは脂がのっていて、コリコリ。自家製たまごはほんのり甘くて美味。とろサーモンも脂がのっていて、とろけます。お魚屋さん直営ということで、新鮮なネタが味わえました。
