My visiting is 3time. Because my livings is Saitama near Tokyo, this places is my wife home.It take about3.5-4hr by bullet-train(Yamagata shinkansen)from Tokyo station This soba shop is located surrounding rice fields .It is truly traditional Japanese landscape Firstly this building was cowshed. The interior is traditional one too.The taste of soba is unique. But I feel it is genuine and it is valuable to try.The price is 1000Jpy /person.If you go there, you need hire car or taxi.It take 10m by taxi nearest Shinjyo station.
Easy to spot. It has a large soft cream cone at its entrance. A nice, convenient restaurant with helpful, friendly staff. There is no English menu but one of the serving staff explained in excellent English the menu choices to me. I had a great meal of ginger miso pork lunch set.
