The watering hole where many in town come to share a meal or a drink, this place has reasonably priced food prepared fresh, friendly and helpful staff, and an atmosphere like your neighborhood bar. Try the tofu salad, the grilled vegetables and meat (Genghis Khan style--order two plates if there are two people--worth it), and the sashimi-of-the-day.

I won't spoil the surprise. Just know when you eat here you will leave with an unexpected treat. Excellent sushi and other dishes. Kind and fun staff. Honestly. The nicest sushi joint I've ever been to.

Avoid the lunch hour as this place is so popular with the locals you'll stand in line for a seat. The soba is fresh, and is available hot or cold. Try the tempura soba. Little English spoken here but staff are friendly.
