Chicken nanban is a local delicacy which was originated by Ogura. Chicken, marinated wih vineger and deepfried, served with tartar sauce. Yummy.

The food deserves five stars, everything tastes amazing and they even had some vegetarian dishes, and an English menu. Nice staff as well. The penalty I give is for the sigaret smoke. When we came in, it was still fine, but in the middle of our meal a table of ten just next to us fished and started smoking. I can now wash my whole outfit.

i know theãowner since 1983. he begun with a very small sushi shop. even those days he was good at his job. now he owns on big ships alike Japanese shushi/ sashimi/ and lobsters/ misosoup/ the fish most are still alive when you enter. and volume is really satisfactory. i am going here with the same friends and my family when in miyazaki.

The art of making sushi is all in the 'shari'. The master of Isshinzushi brings fresh produce from all over Japan. The rice from Sado Island in Niigata cooked in a unique 'won't show me' pumpkin broth brings out the life in the rice! Absolutely amazing. If you are in Miyazaki - need to visit.Surprised Isshinzushi Koyo does not have a Michelin Star.

Glad we could make a reservation. This izakaya has a large menu of local foods as well as drinks. Definitely have some sumibiyakiâfood that has been grilled over a low, buried flame (it looks like itâs covered in soot but the taste is excellent). Every dish we had was a flavor sensation.

Went with my 7 year old boy to this iconic teppanyaki restaurant. Was very fortunate as we booked at the last minute and must have filled a cancelled booking.Though the place has moderate decorationï¼it was completely packed and filled with the aroma of BBQ . Wahï¼we must have come to a right place!Seated at the teppanyaki counter, I had chosen the top wagyu ribeye for daddy and son (100gms) each. Whilst I happily settled for the sirloin (cheaper by 30â°).Salad was included in the dinner set.The 100gms proved to be really generous portion and absolutely gorgeous. Mine was succulent, melt in mouth with more fat content which suited me fine. We really loved the garlic fried rice though need to pay extra. It was worth every grain! The service was great especially our chef. Have missed this restaurant already especially the little guy. He surely got taste. This is a highly enjoyable restaurant serving the finest and the best wagyu beef in Japan (a fact). We will definitely go there again.Thank you so much on the day! I'm chef run to your meal.Your son was really excited and study hard. I hope My son become like your son.I was really happy I could spend with you and your familly.See you again sometimes.APAS Staff Hiro

We visited this restaurant with a few local people and man am I glad that they took us there! The local cuisine was so tasty and worth every cent! We tried the charcoal cooked chicken (delicious), Chicken & Egg on Rice (delicious), Salmon Sushi Roll (Delicous) and the Championship Beef (MINDBLOWINGLY MELT IN YOUR DELICIOUS)! The beers were cold, red wine was great and the Saki was the perfect end to a fun evening! Definitely visiting this place again:)

Miyazaki is famous for chicken, and Suisen was recommended by many people. So, I visited this restaurant right after my arrival in Miyazaki. Tori-Namban, a kind of fried chicken with tartare source, was delicious! The restaurant is small. You should reserve a table in advance.

We must have been to this restaurant over 10 times. Reasonably priced (but still expensive mind you - after all u r getting the best Japanese wagyu beef in the world - in my humble opinion), down to earth approach, friendly service, decent priced wine. You must book though. It's often packed. There is a wide variety of Miyazaki beef on offer ranging from the regular to the best quality and cut. In terms of value for money, the second most expensive grade - tenderloin - is my choice. Kids menu comes w burger. Not sure of the origin, but kids seem to love it every time. There is a salad bar buffet style. Not the greatest choices but salad tends to be fresh. This restaurant also offers sukiyaki. Haven't tried it yet. I thk I will just go back for the Teppanyaki. Good enough for me.A must go whenever we go to Miyazaki and we go often! Just finished a meal a couple of hours ago. Will go on Friday just before we leave. Can't wait.
