We loved this place! It had *everything* we were looking for, literally. We came to Miyako in the first week of September and were looking for a friendly Japanese restaurant, with good food, a nice atmosphere, (wifi!) an English menu (quite uncommon here, I think), drinks, and comfortable, relaxed surroundings. We found all of that here!I was a bit unsure at first, as from the outside it looks quite posh - I was worried it might be a bit too formal (we're not the formal sort), but it was perfect. The staff were great, friendly, attentive, and guided us to our table, and the place to store our shoes. They supplied an English version of the menu, and were well humoured and patient with our lack of Japanese (we only know a handful of words). The menu was varied, and we picked a number of dishes (yes, maybe too many!) and tried some cocktails with the local alcoholic drink. All the food was fantastic, and the tapas style small dishes allowed us to try so many things. Everything is *very* reasonably priced. The restaurant also had free wifi! Really, as a traveller only able to keep in touch with home when free wifi is available, this is such a boon, and quite rare. The atmosphere here was relaxed, friendly and it was the busiest place we saw in town during our stay - always a good sign. We would have come here every night, had we discovered it sooner. We had a really lovely night, :)

The Noodle here is a hand-made noodle. It's completely different from a dried or fried instant noodle everywhere. Very fresh, smooth, but strong. It's one of a best Okinawa noodle I had ever.Just try it!It's on Google Map. ãããããããããã§ã¯æ²ç¸ãã°ãææã¡ãã¦ã¾ããããµããµæã¼ããããåãæã¼ããå®ç§ã«ææã¡ã®è¯ããåºãã¦ããã¦ã¾ããåºä¸»ã«èããã¨ãããç麺ãªã®ã§ã乾麺ç¨ã®æ²¹ãªã©ã使ã£ã¦ããªãããã§ãããã®ããã«ã¤ãã¤ãã§è °ããããæ¯ãããã®æ°æã¡è¯ããåè¶ãã®ãã麺ã«ä»ä¸ãã£ã¦ããã§ããï¼å ´æãããåããã«ãããã¡ã¤ã³ã®éããæ²ãã£ã¦å¥¥å´ã«ããã¾ããé§è»å ´ãå°ãªãã®ã§ãã¿ã¤ãã³ã°ãéè¦ã§ãã確å®ã«å ¥ããããªããå°ãæéããããã¨ããã§ãããããç§ã¯ã©ã³ãã«ã«ããªä¸¼ãé£ã¹ã¦ããã®å¾ã«ããããã«æ¥ãã®ã§ãããããã£ã¨éººãå ¥ã£ã¦è¡ãã¾ãããéãçµæ§ãã£ãããªã®ã«ãã§ããã¾ããå ·ãç´ æ´ããããçèã®çµã¿åããã§ããæ¿åã§ããããªããããã£ã±ãã§ããããã¨ã«ãã麺ã¨ã¹ã¼ãã«ããåãåãåããã飽ãããã¨ã®ãªãå³ã¨è¨ãã¾ããããã¼ãã»ãã¨ã«ç¾å³ããã£ãï¼ãã¢ã¼ã§ç¥ãåã£ãã夫婦ã®ãå§ãã§ãããç¥ã£ãã®ã§ãããèãã¨ããã§ã¯ãã¬ã¤ãããã¯ã«ããã£ããè¼ã£ã¦ããããã®ã§ãä¸åº¦è¡ã£ã¦ã¿ããã¨ããå§ããã¾ãï¼ã¡ãªã¿ã«GoogleMAPã§ãæ²è¼ããã¦ã¾ãããã

We came here after 4 days eating in the Shigira resort. Super positive surprise: great value for price, excellent hot soba and great sashimi, better than the one at the resort sushi restaurant. Friendly and lively atmosphere, and we spent only 3000 yen in 2 people. Highly recommended!

Went to Goya the first night on the island. Only seats available when making reservations was at the bar which is smoking permitted but had no carryover of smoke so it was very acceptable. The food was very good and at the bar you can watch all the preparation. Even though the place was packed, the staff were attentive and helpful. Enjoyed the show and the patron participation is in the true party spirit. Dancing around the room and picture taking is the norm. Will come back the next time we visit Miyakojima. Suggest you arrive by 7 PM at the latest. Parking can be a challenge.

To keep things simple we ordered 1 set meal and a vegetable soba (with fish broth). Both of them were amazing and needless to state staff was very courteous. Even with very basic japanese (and google translate) we managed to order the food. To get in, there was a waiting list. I will recommend to go for dinner, as during lunch line is simply too long. Miyako-soba here is really good and a must try over here.

We were looking for something inexpensive as we werenât too hungry, but boy did we stumble across something good. As per the previous reviews, the restaurant isnât anything fancy from the decor/ lighting, but the service was very friendly and the food was very tasty. Really recommend the mozuku fritters.

Best lunch we had on Miyako. I had the soba with spareribs for ¥750. Delicious garlic flavored broth and just the right amount of noodles. They bring you a sweet sugar Popsicle at the end of the meal.
