Fine little place, nothing fancy, but if you want to eat with the locals and the everyday taste of Okinawa, this is a good example of where folks here would go for lunch. Lot of food for ¥500~¥600, standard Okinawan Katsuo fish stock, and fast service. I have lived in Okinawa for 17 years and this is the taste of home!

After checking in, We were recommended to book if eating within the compound.A good advice.Okame is very petite and can only serve around 8 rooms.Their food was Okinawa based and reasonably priced.A great way to start your Okinawa holiday.Go on your first night, you may want to go again on your last.

Loved it and was a good price! Would love to come up here again just for the deep fried mashed potatoes!!! Fantastic definitely a place to go while your up at Okuma or just passing through!

I couldn't order stir fried vegetables because they stop serving that after 1pm. Ordered okinawan soba combo, i forgot the name, through eigo menu. Costed 900yen. Came with okinawan soba topped with stir fried beansprouts and mushroom, rice bowl, yellow pickle?, and side vegies. I was hungry and it was great! Filled me right up. Come and check it out.

Had a good waitress and enjoyed the food and environment. Smoking is allowed and the food is great. Loved the chicken on a stick and yumminess!! The taco balls are interesting and the fried rice is great!

Amazing find! My family was visiting from the United States, staying at Okuma resort, and we wanted local food (we had enough pizza and fries). We followed mapquest to a place that had a restaurant symbol not knowing what we would find. It was only minutes away. A gem in the rough! Although they did not have an English menu or speak any English, they were very friendly. We saw a few dishes come out of the kitchen that looked great and pointed to those. I also used my limited knowledge and asked for "sashimi, tempura and sakana." The sets were reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. My sister claimed it was her favorite meal eaten in all of Okinawa. My kids were even excited because it was such an adventure for them. I can't wait to come again and tell my friends about this restaurant. I wish we were staying in Okuma another night so we could go again
