When you are in Ibusuki, you should not miss trying the running water noodles! This one is the most famous running water noodles restaurant so we went there. There are free parking.you need to buy tickets first and then find a table. Next, give the tickets to another counter with your table number. The staffs would take the food to your table later. The noodles are smooth. The taste with the soya sauce is delicious. They are set menu but I prefer the noodles only. My husband tried the fish set menu and he loved the food a lot. It is fun to put the noodles into the running water. We went there at about 3:30pm so there weren't a lot of customers. I guess it would be very busy at the lunch time.

The restaurant is almost at the end of a main shopping street closer to the sea, about 10 minutes from Ibusuki station. I had a cheaper set menu and a small kettle of Sweet Potato Shochu and Paid US$28. The restaurant may be the fanciest restaurant in Ibusuki. All the local dishes served were very tasty and I liked them very much specially with local shochu called Riemon(Black version). I should have better come with my friends to share more dishes and Shochu.

Love the noodle and the fried sweet potatoes especially. You can probably skip the carp sashimi dishes. Overall, great value for the food quality. You will need a car to reach this place thou.

This place is just past the train station on left. Look for the green curtain above the door. I had a lunch set that consisted of a bowl of a sort of stew with pork,tofu, a poached egg, and veggies. Included was a bowl of rice, some pickles, and slice of sweet potato in a sugar syrup as desert. Price 850 yen. Sharon had a bowl of rice that had pork, bean sprouts, okra, tomatoes. Her set included dashi broth, pickles and the sweet potato slice. Same price. Good value for very tasty food. This is a popular place at lunch and becomes busy after 12:30 PM. The meal included green tea or water, so a delicious complete meal for a great price.

Clean and prompt service from restaurant staff. Ample seating capacity with lift accessibility. Ordered the premium set. Cost around 1650yen (includes salt grilled fish ,a plate of sashimi and free flow of hot green tea) Money worth!
