A memorable meal with our Japanese diplomat friends in their hometown just outside Tokyo (20 minutes by train from our Tokyo hotel). The sukiyaki which was cooked at the table was outstanding. Reside dishes complimented well including the surprise appearance of marinated sliced tomatoes. The rice and bulger dish was tasty and we finished with green tea ice cream. An American Chardonnay at $5 a glass went very well ( a big surprise). Very comfortable place with excellent service. Close to the center of town and an interesting temple.

Came to have a business meeting at Fuchu Continental Hotel and had their breakfast at restaurant Tohoku Bokujo !Surprised by their new menu every time I come !This time their toasts were in horse form and also there was this purslane yogurt, quite interesting.And the price is quite cheap for a city hotel !I would definitely come back here again !
