Ooopss, where did all these reviews and ratings come from??? I can for sure not identify with them...Came to this place for the review rating and what an unpleasant surprise! The place does not look too clean... the fish did not look too fresh either.... but again, not so many people can be wrong! So I decided to stay. Big mistake!Service was ok and they did insist that they closed at 2:30 pm so I had to hurry for which I do not mind that much... they have their hours and that is perfectly normal.I ordered a miso soup that was ok and they did charge me for asking extra seaweed...Then a rainbow roll and a spicy tuna roll... well they did take some already cut fish to make my rolls.... and closing?? What was left over they put back in the counter fridge for next turn... they did taste off and did taste un fresh.... too bad I was hungry and had to eat them... way way not good.... please refer to my pictures to see what I am talking about.... to top it off, please look how they close down the place... well all in all I doubt this place and cannot trust the quality of the food... raw fish?? All in all I do not recommend this place... sorry.

Please come in and enjoy the beautiful decor as well as flavorful dishes. Umami is the fifth taste following salty, sweet, bitter, sour, and now umami. Umami in japanese means savory. A family owned restaurant only guarantees the freshest and highest qual
We celebrate Hubby's Birthday with a dinner in this Restaurant. The food was delicious, the "helado frito" is yummy!!I didnt like the fruit juice (strawberry pomegranate)Sergio was the person in charge to cook for us, we was very kind and nice, but the service from waiters must improve, they take a lot time to attend Customers.

This is a very average place to eat "Japanese" food. The buffet lacks many items you can easily find at nearby competitors (Sashimi, seaweed salad). The ambiance is nice, good for a conversation and so is the service. Nevertheless, it's sort of a bland option with the typical mix of pizza and nuggets for kids in one hand, and "makis" and "nigiris" on the other. What I do believe is worth the price of 12.50$ (without beverages) is the "teppan", where the client pick the ingredients of choice. If you're on an all proteins diet, this is a really good option. The Teppan was offering: shrimps, squid, steak, chicken, eggs, mushrooms, an assortment of vegetables, and more. Most of the time when you go to a similar buffet, at the teppan grill they ask you what you want to have, at AKI, the proportions are up to the commensal...not the cook.

This is a small unpretentius restaurant with a good menu. Everything I tasted was good and service was prompt and friendly. The menu has a "cooked fish" and a "raw fish" category and it would be even better if the raw category had more choices. Prices were reasonable for sushi.

There is a good selection of food on the menu. We stared with the Thai Vegetable Spring Roll, which is beautifully presented and delicious. My wife had the Double Egg Chinese Fried Rice while I had the Signature Pork Belly Fried Rice. Both were generous portions and were nicely presented.Service was very good.

new sushi bar in Doral
We went there with eleven people and had exceptional food. All the different sushi we ordered were creative, original and had a wonderful taste. The desert was a topper. From the outside it does not look spectacular, nor is the inside. The main thing the food is excellent, but a little expensive. This place is worthwhile more visits.

The best of Japanese and Peruvian cultures serving up high-quality Nikkei cuisine. Bringing together the delicate and refined Japanese cuisine with Peruvian freshness and spice. We welcome you to pull up to the bar for a dining experience you'll be thinki
I visited this restaurant last night. I had some sushi and a couple beers. The traditional rolls we're avg size but the specialty rolls are huge. Large enough to share. Although there weren't many patrons in the restaurant and it was well staffed, I was a little disappointed in the service. Everyone was polite and professional, it was just slow.
