Deventer (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈdeːvəntər] ( listen)) is a city and municipality in the Salland region of the province of Overijssel, Netherlands. In 2017, Deventer had a population of 99,577. The city is largely situated on the east bank of the river IJssel, but also has a small part of its territory on the west bank. In 2005 the municipality of Bathmen (with a population of about 5,000 people) was merged with Deventer as part of a national effort to reduce bureaucracy in the country.

It's quite fun to order your sushi via an table device. Although several time we were given the wrong dishes. The sushi and warm meals variations are limited, not that many choices.I found the sushi better than the warm meals. The beef and grilled salmon dishes tasted a bit dry. Overall the food was average.

Op een woensdagavond geweest, was gezellig druk. Alles werd optijd aangevuld.Ruime keuze in kant klaar gerechten en ook van de plaat en het wokgedeelte is goed gesorteerd.Heerlijke toetjes. Zeer vriendelijke bediening en ook de drank was inclusief.( sterke drank niet)

Booked by phone. Arrived on Saturday evening, very busy. Shown to our table which was very small indeed and 40 cm from the tables on either side. Ridiculous! Impossible to have a conversation without being overheard as well as impossible not to hear your neighbours conversations. Table too small for glasses and food plates so we had to put the water bottle on the floor.The food and service were fine.order on a tablet, waiters bring the food to the table. Large choice of deserts.

The food and service are very good. For vegetarian, this place is safe to eat. The chef was concerned and explained really well regarding the ingredients which he puts inside the food if you tell him beforehand, so you won't ruin your diet. Definitely will come back again soon.

Had a celebration lunch with my mother. And we decided to go for sushi. Zutphen was nothing open so we went to Deventer and ended up here in this old style building. The service was good and friendly and the sushi was oke in terms of taste. The offering is basically the same as all the sushi places. If I would be in the area again would have sushi there again!

Came to A1 in Deventer with family for a special occassion. Service was good, buffet was enormous with a wide variety of food, drinks and desserts. Perfect place to come with family or big group of friends or co-workers as it is an all-you-can-eat buffet and there's no need to wait to waiter to take your order. Very spacious, perfect for families with kids as there is a kid corner downstairs by the restrooms. You can eat and talk while kids are having an awesome time downstairs. There is a beverage area where you can go and get your own drinks: milk, soda, beer and wine...since I don't drink, I'm not sure how the alcoholic beverage are paid for in the end but the price of the buffet includes all you can drink soda and milk (for kids).

We came here together for a drink because the terras looked real cozy, we went inside because of the cold. The interior was to much. they tried a robust style with modern twist, the waitresses where wearing a 'lumberjack'-outfit. furniture had a lot of wood and furs but also shiny disco lights and fairy like curtains. So in my opinion the interior was waay to much, and just not giving a relaxed vibe (less is certaibly more here). We ordered two chocolatemilk, which where served in less than 30 seconds so it was water based coco (but must say for waterbased good coco, still never beats milk based). It was served witch whipped cream and some caramelchocolate sparkles and 2 small merinque(way to sweet), But it all looked nice. The waitress was also tó friendly. It has the potential of a nice lounge café, but please lose half of the interior. Would go here again though to try a second time. Menu also looked inviting to try, perhaps next time.

Ok, the restaurant won't win any prices for interior design. And the chef is not an old grumpy Japanese. But the food is fantastic, fresh, full of details and flavours. I didn't feel the need to add soy sauce, ginger or wasabi because the flavours were really balanced and complete. I highly recommend the surprise menu.
