A group of work colleague had lunch at the Ippudo. The menu was limited but OK for a lunch venue. By the way, a number of the menu items were not available until evening. We all ordered different bowls of noddle soup. The meal looked and tasted like high end packets of instant noodles with a few extras thrown in. Rather disappointing. The service was poor. All but one of us was served their meal and drink. One was not served. He had to ask for his meal on several occasions. It eventually arrived. Some of us ordered sweets but we also had to ask on a number of occasions to have them delivered. Eventual, one of the waiters went to the fridge and pulled the bowls out. They were waiting all the time.A less than satisfying meal.

We were recommended this restaurant at the end of the street we were staying on. Simple food, communal tables and tasty food. Be prepared to queue, but it's worth it.

Visiting my daughter in Chatswood and was keen to try some Japanese food whilst catching up with her. At my daughter's recommendation, we decided to have dinner here on a Monday night. We arrived at 6pm, (restaurant does not take reservations) but still had a good selection of tables to choose from and got a nice little nook. The ordering is via a tablet setup for each table and pretty straight forward. My daughter ordered the Wagyu Sukiyaki Telshoku set dish whilst I ordered the Double Unagi Hitsumabushi (double serve of eel) dish. We both ordered the Asari Miso Shiru, which contains baby clams. Dessert was Matcha Anmitsu. The food came out promptly and the presentation was outstanding, although I felt the way my main dish was served, could have been a little lower. The food was delicious by the way, and our finished dishes was also cleared away promptly by the ever alert waitresses.I would return again!

Came here on a busy Saturday to have lunch. Loved the atmosphere which felt like Japan and the Japanese staff. Attentive service. The bento boxes here aren't cheap- they start from $20 but the portions are generous and therefore pretty good value. I think all the tables were taken by the time we left at around 1pm. Location is super convenient -just on the street level of the Chatswood train station. Would definitely come here again.

I used to go frequently to Makoto in Sydney CBD because they used to be consistently great. Recently a japanese friend introduced me to Sushi Kaido and it immediately became my goto sushi place in Sydney. The restaurant is small and run by Japanese. The sushi is comparable to sushi you get in Japan and that says everything. The fish is excellent quality and the rice is cooked consistently great. Plus they are open the whole day with no breaks. Highly recommended!

Been here many times...can consider one of the best ramen you can get in Sydney. From first time until last time the quality is dropping...it used to be good at the beginning...but still can give it a try...

Ate at Infuzions for first time in a year. Had made online booking which they had not received (suggest checking) - but they found us a table. Food was good but I felt prices had gone up a little. $170 for 4, byo wine. Not over the top but up a little. Always nice environment and friendly service.

I have the soy based tonkotsu and it was good. I would have liked an egg included in the bowl of ramen for that price. Its steaming hot and broth was very tasty i drank it all. The portion was a bit small, their bowls look bit but its a steep V shape so really not that much. The price I think is pretty steep for a bowl of ramen, around $15-20. The entertainment book also has 25% off if you have one.The dumpling was good, a bit oily but tasty.Store opens at 11:30 and we arrived at 11:45 and there was already a line. One of the better ramen places in Sydney. Get a VIP card on the way out, its free and you earn points.
