Tonkichi serves some of the best Tonkatsu (fried pork) i have had in Japan. Go there if you want the REAL experience of what it feels like to be a salaryman in Japan at lunch. Need to arrive early, the place is small and packed.Tonkatsu is excellent but the staff does not speak a word of English (or anything else than Japanese). Not an insurmontable issue however, there is a plastic display of the different dishes outside.Very reasonable prices as often in Japan. Lunch set with Tonkatsu, rice, pickles and a delicious Miso soup from 1000 to 1300 yens depending upon how much meat you want to ingest.Only issue? It is in Atsugi City which is not a tourist destination by any stretch of imagination.

Enjoy Japanese cuisine! Japanese seasonal ingredients delivered directly from production centers!! Enjoy Japanese dishes prepared through various techniques, using fresh ingredients. In our restaurant you can enjoy sushi, sashimi, tempura, boiled dishes,
Located above train station, entrance via lifts inside the station area.Food is traditional and great quality, with a wide choice of Japanese styles. Nice atmosphere and service was good from kind staff. Very recommended and will visit again.
Foreign visitor could never find such fantastic sushi and tempura served in quaint traditional atmosphere by friendly staff without company of Japanese friend. I was very pleased with high quality and freshness of fish.

A bit tucked away from the main business district, but just a short walking distance from the Atsugi train station. We had a big dinner group (9 pax), so seating space was a bit cramped, but manageable. Lots of well known and boutique sake (nihoshu) / shochu on the menu. Doing a sake degustation with food was fun and interesting. Food was excellent, mainly raw fish and fresh seadfood varieties. Service was friendly and adequate. Highly recommended!

Where to eat Pub food in Atsugi: The Best Restaurants and Bars

This Ebina Service Area is run by a different company than the Ebina Service Area going into Tokyo. While the other SA is going for gourmet food offerings, this SA is going for food cart, street food offerings. You get lots of different types of stalls hawking BBQ seafood, meat, fried goods, ice creams, shaved ice, bubble tea.... We love to stop at BOTH Ebina Service Areas because they offer totally different feel.

Went with my wife for late dinner. We ordered yakitori, fried shrimp, otonomiyaki (seafood pancake), onigiri (riceballs), and beer.Food is very fresh yet serving the food took a while.Spent around ¥3000.

Cool bar/restaurant close to zip line park where we served (English speaking staff !) very quickly a good bowl of ramen for all of us ! Not sure if they have anything else but ramen. Parking available in front of restaurant. Would definitely go there again.
