I went to this restaurant this month for a luncheon with some coworkers. We ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, calamari, spicy shrimp, chicken parm -> all was excellent. Excellent location for Large Parties. The Service was just OK. Pizza and sandwiches are good, and the wait staff friendly. But I've seen several of their delivery drivers smoking in their cars. I've called the manager, he assures me that he'll take care of it, but who knows what good that ever does. So be advised that if your delivery order smells of cigarette smoke, don't say I didn't warn you.

I love "Dags" pizza. I have for years as I almost always had it after a Cubs game at their location on Southport. When I learned they were opening in Wheeling I was thrilled. The pizza is terrific. So why not 5 stars? I don't recommend as a sit-down pizza place.I have eaten inside on two occasions. I have two issues with it. First, on both occasions, the wait staff was pretty terrible. We're a family of four and we were not being paid attention to on either occasion. Getting a drink refill was nearly impossible and something that NEVER happened to me before - I needed another beer, which is not a free refill, and had a difficult time getting one! Additionally, it was a very slow night the second time we were there. In a large dining room, we were one of maybe seven tables in the place. The second reason is the dining room itself. I was shocked the fist time I walked in (and continue to be) on how cold and unappealing the decor is in the place. For a new construction restaurant, I was blown away. The tables and chairs have a "diner" feel to them which is fine for a 50s style diner that has a jukebox and a service counter. But for a pizza place, which for me has always had a homier feel to it, this is function, with no form whatsoever.5 stars for the pizza. 0 for the restaurant. So overall, 4.

My family had some sandwiches from Joe's and were impressed. Great Italian flavor and feel and the value was right on. Service was awesome and parking was easy. We'll definitely be back to try their pizza, which many people were ordering. The place hops with take-away food, so that's another option to experience Joe's as well.

Our first time here. Reasonably conversation friendly. Bread comes with cooked garlic spread. Yummy. Enjoyed our salads. Mrs. especially enjoyed her pasta primavera. I had the very large, off the menu special, veal Milanese. Was good but probably not something I would order again next time back. Service was very good.

Good service but mediocre food. Tables are squeezed together so seating is almost communal. Chairs nearly touch each other and navigating between tables an adventure. Of seven entrees served, three were sent back for reheating. Server was highly apologetic and offered complimentary dessert. Nothing here screams "return" as there are many Italian restaurants available rated higher.
