The Romanacci Cafe offers all types of "Italian Eats & Treats" for our patrons. Stop by for exquisite coffees, panini sandwiches, pizza, and a whole lot more.
Iâve reviewed this restaurant before, and find the pizza still a fabulous treat, original pies, great taste. Servers are generally all good. Improvement could be made if host could improve his attitude somewhat - recent experience is he is abrupt, forgetful with bringing orders, a bit abrasive, and generally not pleasant. This taints the experience here, despite the excellent food. Also like the renovations which are standing up well. Also like the display of local artists.

Party of four, delightful service, varied menu, all was outstanding. Im a scallop fan and their scallops were an unusual but delicious presentation. This is a small room with the owner chef in kitchen. Worth a visit, this gentleman knows how to cook and run a restaurant

A little restaurant around the corner from the Westport MetroNorth train station, family run with a real Italian feel. Food was not overcooked, or over-cheesed. Portions were large but not crazy, and not one bit of food was left on any of our six entrees. The eggplants, both rollatini and parmagiana, tender, right amount of cheese, not soaked in cheese, no sign of breading as in so many run of the mill places. The short ribs were so soft, no knife was needed, over a well-seasoned risotto. The person eating the lasagna said it was the best lasagna she had ever eaten, very very light on the cheese with a sauce that was definitely not out of a jar. Service was very friendly too.

They can be a little crowded and you may have to wait for a table. Consider the take/out option or seats at the bar.

We opened our doors in 2011 in Westport, CT. Pane e Bene stands for bread and goodness. Bread: We use fresh ingredients in our Italian Contemporary cuisine. Goodness: The service is as important as the food. We combine good service and good food to our cu
If you want real Italian gourmet food in Westport CT, this is the place. Outstanding variety of menu choices prepared perfectly. Nice ambiance but relatively small. The kind of Italian restaurant where the owner takes a great deal of pride in serving you. Excellent sauce! I had the zuppa di pesce which was loaded with seafood in a delicious broth. Appetizers are outstanding too. Pricey but worth it if you love quality Italian and want to impress a guest.Hi Ralph, thank you for this thoughtful and wonderful review. We really appreciate loyal customers like you, and we are so happy to hear that you love our Italian dishes! Hope to see you back again soon.

We stopped in after seeing their reasonably priced lunch menu online for weekdays. Delicious and authentic with excellent service. We enjoyed 2 different soups on a cold day, both so flavorful. The fish of the day was monkfish, which we loved. Prepared in lemon, wine and capers, served with a bit of broccoli and potato. Great crusty bread too! A great value, and delicious.Thank you so much! We are so happy to hear you had a great experience dining with us and enjoyed your soups and monkfish! Please come again soon!

Since 1992, the Sforza's Westport Italian trattoria has earned a âloyal followingâ with âdependableâ âclassicâ fare, some inspired by nonna's recipes, plus brick-oven pizza and weeknight family-style specials, served in an âinvitingâ Tuscan farmhouse sett
We have been here many times over this years and have always loved it. However there has been a noticeable decline in the overall experience. We went past Friday night for dinner. It took more than 10 minutes to be seated an we were one of 5 groups waiting to be seated. The staffing at the front entrance seemed chaotic. Lots of take outs, lots of people working, the phone ringing off the hook yet tables sitting open. I saw the manager (or maybe owner) working and everyone was too busy to notice the long lone of people waiting to be seated. The young hostess was very nice but because the phone kept ringing, she was forced to constantly answer instead of seating people (I blame the owner for poor staffing at the front). We finally got seated and our waitress was very nice. However, it took probably a good half hour between when we got our salad and our main course. The overall feeling of chaos continued. I tried to speak to someone at the time who was both arrogant and rude in his lack of accountability for the situation. Iâm fairly sure it was the manager or owner. Iâm writing this review with the owners will pay attention to the noticeable decline in the quality of service and food. Sorry to hear this. We do our best to accommodate and provide a great experience. We appreciate your feedback and have shared it with our team.

I love a good risotto, and they do an excellent job on theirs. So rare to find a good one in a restaurant in the area. Most everything I have had here has been very good. The one dish I have ordered that I didn't particularly like was more because of my preference rather than anything wrong with the dish itself. Appetizers are quite good and often quite an original take on old Italian restaurant stand-bys. For example, the fried mozzarella is not served with a marinara sauce. It is more like a marsala, and it makes quite a difference in the flavor profile. My friends love the beet salad. Only negative, when it is busy, it feels crowded and is very loud. Went here for a Christmas party with a group of around 14. They put us at a square table where for the people seated at the corners, only one could actually pull their chair in and have their legs under the table. I ended up having to have my chair quite far back from the table and spent the night leaning over to get closer to the table. Also, this caused the waiters to constantly hit my chair when going by. When there are large groups, they need to give a bit more thought to how people can sit comfortably at the table. You can't have people right up to the corners and expect that they will be comfortable. Made us feel totally squashed in. For the prices, which are above average unless getting the price fix, making sure customers are comfortable should be one of the priorities. Our group's check was close to $1000 on a weeknight when they are typically slow, so they could have worked on this. For a regular table size, more than worth trying out as the food really is very good. If going with a larger party, perhaps tell them what kind of table set up you would like in order to avoid the issue above.

Maybe 10 tables in a warm welcoming setting, maybe only 30 lucky patrons seated.SO you get that small intimate feeling, with the owners and excellent staff enhancing your experience. Excellent food quality, and you will certainly not leave hungry. Make a reservation for a weekend night. We have been there a few times and will be back, never soon enough. They have there own small parking area and there is plenty of parking nearby- call them to ask where if you are not sure.Dear wgardellajr,Thank you for dining at Finalmente Trattoria. This highly popular (pricey) Italian restaurant, housed in a former railroad station, has excellent food and attentative service. However, it lacks the intimacy of an up scale Italian eatery. The main dining room has 20+foot ceilings, with white table clothed tables scattared throughout.Frankly, it's cold. The second floor dining area is isolated and would be good for private parties. To be seated there independently is being sentenced to a remote area; especially if there are few other diners. The new bar area, with high tables is an attractive spot to stop for a drink after disembarking the train.
