Recently ate here with a large group, I had never had their food before and it was delicious! The service was great, too. We had an array of pizza, wings, subs and salad. The pizza was good - not too greasy, right amount of sauce and cheese ratio and a delicious crust! I did not personally eat wings or subs but I heard they were both very good, too! The setup for the large group was nice. Thanks!

Lucia's on the Lake is a New American / Italian Waterfront Restaurant and Bar featuring fresh seafood, seasonal locally sourced ingredients, and an eclectic menu of Italian, Seafood, and Contemporary American cuisine.
This a beautiful spot close to Lake Erie with lovely water viewing while drinking cocktails/wine on the upstairs outside deck. Ideal spot except for wires making it a somewhat obstructed view. Too bad food isnât served up there because not only lovely but quiet. Downstairs in the main eating area itâs a bit noisy and although windows with seats next to them, the view wasnât quite the same, especially since they kept moving the shades to protect those who didnât want the sun in their eyes, despite offering sunglasses for those patrons. We just wore our sunglasses because how often is that view available on a sunny Buffalo evening? The food was good, the seafood very fresh and tasty, sauces good, but the biggest drawback to this place is that the pasta is made elsewhere, and definitely stale compared to fresh house made pasta and risotto. And you really notice the flavorless stale pasta That really disappointed the four of us especially since early that week and the following night we ate fresh house-made pasta in two different terrific Buffalo restaurants. We also ordered the huge bruschetta plate and we did eat that all down. Pricy but decent.

This place has been going strong for years and shows no signs of losing its appeal. Really excellent homemade meals with a decidedly Italian bent. And your meal comes with the works: soup, salad, palate cleanser, even a warm cookie (the cookie wasn't very impressive though). We could smell the garlic from the parking lot, luring us in. I had the special, a pork chop, and it was really delicious. Nothing much fancy about the decor, but the service is excellent (same waitress has been there for years and she shows no signs of slowing down). We went on a busy Friday and were lucky enough to snag one of the last tables with no waiting. A very pleasant and yummy evening for not a bad price.

Recommending the steak sub with the works. It is served hot and is great! Friendly staff and a great pizza shop.

Mess Hall ? Not like any I ever entered. Pleasant decor with good food at reasonable price served by pleasant staff. A definite stop if visiting Our Lady of Victory or the nearby Buffalo Botanical Gardens. A worthwhile stop if NOT visiting the forementioned.

Recently, my mother, son and I enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Ilio DiPauolos for my motherâs birthday. Wow! We were in love with the menu, the restaurant and ambience and the attentive server. We started with an order of stuffed mushrooms which were excellent and fresh bread and oil. I thoroughly enjoyed my spaghetti and sauce topped with mushrooms and mozzarella cheese. Mom loved the lasagna and son raves about the fettuccine Alfredo. We were all in the mood for a traditional Italian dinner and we were not disappointed. I enjoyed my supper with a nice Pinot Noir and we finished with a good old fashioned cannoli. Perfect. We were able to park in front of the entrance for my mother but there is plenty of parking behind the restaurant. I made same day reservations on a Sunday and had no trouble. I highly recommend for family dinners, romance or any occasion! Enjoy. Mangiamo!Christine,Thank you for taking the time to leave us a great review! We wouldn't be in business for over 50 years if we didn't have great friends like you. We're so glad to hear you enjoyed the Spaghetti, Lasagna and Fettuccine Alfredo! We look forward to seeing you and your family again soon. Thank you,Dennis DiPaolo

5 of us gathered to celebate a milestone birthday. Our server Amy was simply excellent with a great sense of humor! We all enjoyed different entrees..especially homemade manicotti, lasange and meatballs of course!. All food arrived as ordered and hot. It was quite busy, but that did not impact our food or service.

Have eaten there a few times and the food has been very good, and the service excellent. Everything has been wonderful with one disappointment, the lasagna That was all ricotta cheese and hardly any sauce. Very dry. Everything else was great. Loved the chicken parm especially.

We had group training and we were able to have take out pizza and dine-in. Both were excellent. Everyone loved the pizza. We were from out of town and wondered why so much food was brought in. After finishing, a line formed and EVERYONE came in and joined. We then understood.
