If you like italian food, this is the place for you. Pizzas are really good to be in Germany. Pastas are ok, but not more than that.

I consider it an above-the-average place better than regular. I arrived at Ravensburg after a 22 hour intercontinental trip and, as you may expect, non packaged food was an urgent need. I found the tomato soup delightful and the salmon was quite neat: Both told the story with no adjectives: just plain and honest Italian cuisine. Being from a Latin American country (and not speaking German AT ALL) I also appreciated the Latino mood and the good service.

We ate here as a family and there was something to satisfy everyone. The staff were friendly and helpful and the service time was great. Portion sizes were generous, the food delicious and a reasonable price. Would recommend.

Nicht zu empfehlen. Erst wollten wir eine Pizza bestellen, doch die Küche war zu und wir konnten nur was zu trinken bestellen. Dann holten wir von extern ein Pizza. Natürlich setzt man sich normalerweise mit einer âfremdenâ Pizza nicht auf die Terrasse des Restaurants, aber es war leer und wir fragten, ob wir uns trotzdem setzen dürfen, wenn wir was zu trinken bestellen. Leider wurden wir äuÃerst rüde und barsch verscheucht. Offensichtlich laufen die Geschäfte gut.....aber ich gebe dort kein Geld aus.

Who would have thought you could come to Germany to have fantastic Italian cuisine. Here in the little picturesque town of Ravensburg on a pretty little street, is Vittorio Romano Pizzeria Kastanie. We sat on the patio, and enjoyed the very warm and inviting service. The restaurant was completely full on a Tuesday evening, which to me is an excellent indicator. I had the tomato soup appetizer which was incredible. Followed by the spaghetti bolognese which was simply amazing. My colleagues both had pizza which they said was excellent. The wine was great as well and very, very affordable. The owner is always around and you can tell he loves what he does, and his customers. What a fantastic place. Highly, highly recommended!!

Staying at the BW, we found this on the www, with good reviews and within walking distance. We arrived without a booking - they were very busy, kindly found someone who spoke English the food was plentiful and inexpensive compared to our visit to Bade-Baden. It is also a nice town with working peeps and not just tourism so take time out to visit the Basilica

Nice and warm restaurant. Good food with a nice place to sit outside. Restaurant inside is also beautiful. Industrial with a romantic look. We ate very fresh mozzarella salade, good tasty vitello tonato and pasta. Both wines were Amazing. We drunk a primitivo and a pinot gricio

Good food and a good & fast service. We can definitely recommend this restaurant. We had pizza & pasta, both tasted good. Hugo was Ok, but fresh mint was missing. Very positiv were the hot plates, so the food was hot & delicious & the service was very good and he showed attention to us.

Second time we went to this Restaurant (1st time in october 2015), while on visit in Weingarten. They serve italian home made pasta and antipasti as well as delicious meat and fish fron the grill. It was absolutly delicious both times. Don't miss the home-made deserts!
