Wir waren Gäste bei einer Geburtstagsfeier in der Trattoria Italia. Das Essen, ein italienisches Buffet, hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Die Antipasti sowie die Penne mit Steinpilzen waren der Hit. Das Tiramisu hat das kulinarische Highlight abgerundet. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich.

I was here one evening after walking about in Treppenviertel. I went inside with my friend, to our surprise there were quite some people in the restaurant, alas it didn't feel lonely and you had that vibe that something was happening. It is an Italian restaurant so the guys say all the Italian things like "prego, grazie and buena cera". It does not come off as pretentious, but there was one guy walking about with a "hard" face not saying a word serving, taking dishes. I assume this guy does not speak german. Still I would find it nice if he learned two words like "Can I take it?" or "you are welcome". Main dishes range between 22-30â¬, pasta dishes about 20â¬. Our bill for two people, one bottle of water and desert landed on 64â¬. It was tasty, fun and atmospheric. I can only recommend.

Wir hatten einen Tisch reserviert, der uns dann auch zugewiesen wurde. Das Restaurant ist von der Inneneinrichtung mit gewischten roten Wänden eben typ. italienisch. Eine groÃe Tafel mit Speisen hängt über dem Tresen zur Küche. Alles OK. Es wurde dann sofort leckeres Pesto mit Brot auf den Tisch gestellt. Wir wählten aus der Mittagskarte das Menü mit Kichererbsensuppe und Tagliatelle mit Pfifferlingen. Dazu gehörte als Dessert Panna Cotta. Für die anderen Speisen entschieden wir uns für venezianische Kalbsleber und anschlieÃend Tiramisu. Die Suppe war OK. Die Taglitelle mit Pfifferlingen sehr lecker. Es waren richtig viele Pfifferlinge in der Pasta. Die venezianische Leber war ganz hervorragend. Sie wurde mit Portwein abgelöscht. Alle Gerichte sehr geschmackssicher abgeschmeckt. Der Koch versteht sein Handwerk. Den offenen Hauswein Chardonnay kann man empfehlen. Leider muÃten wir auf die handgeschriebene Rechnung eine Ewigkeit warten. Die Rechnung auf 3 Personen auszurechnen war nicht möglich, weil keine Zuordnung der Beträge zu den Speisen und Getränke möglich war. Wir fragten den Patron, für welche Spalte der jeweilige Betrag steht. Da wurde er ungehalten und ratterte schnell die Positionen runter, daà man nicht folgen konnte. Als wir es erneut versuchten, fragte er mürrisch, ob wir immer noch mit der Rechnung beschäftigt sind. Wir fragten, ob die Kasse defekt sei und verlangten eine ordnungsgemäÃe Rechnung. Die kam dann auch umgehend und alles war kein Problem mehr. Ich habe nicht verstanden, was diese Aktion vom Patron sollte. Wir haben alle den Sinn der unübersichtlichen hangeschriebenen Rechnung nicht begriffen. Die Reaktion vom Chef war leider sehr enttäuschend und hat mit der fröhlichen italienischen Gastfreundschaft nichts zu tun. Wir dachten schon, wir hätten einen neuen tollen Italiener gefunden. Irritierend war jedoch, daà er uns beim Verlassen des Restaurants freundlich hinterher winkte. Vielleicht war das so etwas wie eine Entschuldigung?

positive to mention is the interiour and friendly service. The food is intolerable according to the high price. I paod 14 ⬠for a thin "pizza" without tomatoe sauce and a tiny layer of ingrediences. The dough had more in common with a "flammkuchen" but definitely not with a good pizza. It was far from satisfying and moreover tasteless.

We enjoyed the great garden with outdoor seating in a balmy night. Unfortunately the pizza was of rather poor quality, much too muddy and heavy. Very hard to eat. The noodles lacked taste, too. Shame. But drinks were good!

Small restaurant with really authentic italian feeling. Open kitchen, so that you can watch the cooks prepare the delicious food. A buffet with italian ham, salami and cheese, Dozens of italian wines and a selection of fine antipasti and italian desserts.I had a soup of the day which turned out to be tomato soup, very delicious, a pizza funghi, very slim and crispy dough just like you get it in italy. I had half a liter of their delicious red house wine. There was gratis bread and olives and a gratis digestive. All in all I paid 17,50 Euros, a real bargain.The restaurant is small and cosy, but don't expect it to be hip and chic, it has more the atmosphere of a small trattoria you'll find in some side street in a small italian town.

We loved this Restaurant and would surely go back. The food is super delicious and offers variety of pastas and pizzas. The ambience Is authentically Italian and has a different class. The staff is friendly and provides very quick service. The portion size is enough and they also serve very nice chilly oil to spice up ones taste. Their starter of linsen is very tasty. The price is also reasonable and it's a nice restaurant to take someone special.

Very pretty building right next to Hotel Diamant. My wife and I have been twice and both times enjoyed everything we ordered. There are many Italian restaurants in Wedel, but this one is certainly worth a visit......especially if, like me, you like pizzas - probably the thinnest pizzas in Hamburg. You sit on real antique chairs and at real antique tables. Most important is the extremely friendly and accommodating staff - we were made to feel almost like one of the family and both times had a beautiful experience.
