Bringing the flavours of Alvito, Southern Italy to the heart of Waterford City.
We ducked into Alvito on a rainy night, more to get out of the rain and not expecting much. We were delighted with our meal! The pasta was authentic, my salad was fresh and delicious, the buschetta luscious, the tiramisu terrific. Four clearly Italian girls were enjoying pizza at another table. Very gracious service, close to Waterford Marina Hotel. reminded us of simple places in Italy.

Vegetarian and celiac friendly
Great for lunch or a casual dinner. I had the Mediterranean salad with grilled vegetables so fresh and tasty. Himself had gnocchi with meat and cream sauce and it was delicious. Chocolate tart for dessert was homemade and it was so good. Theres a good selection of wines and bottled beer. Will be back again soon

Itâs such a great treat to return to an old favorite and to find that the simple standards are well maintained. Pleasant welcome, efficient service and excellent food are the hallmarks upon which Ginos was build. Great to see those standard being maintained. Thank you for the most excellent garlic bread and pizza. Not to mention the superb ice cream.

Lovely place, just a potty they donât stay open a little later. Only discovered this place tonight. Great atmosphere and decor just disappointed that the bar closed not long after we arrived. I thought bars stay open after 8???

A Mediterranean dining experience to savour! Always a pleasure. Bellissimo is a tried and tested favourite, that is almost without comparison in Waterford City. Our aim is to welcome each and every customer and make every effort to ensure that they enjoy
I was at a 50th Birthday at Bellissimo. The venue was perfectly laid out. Everyone could chat and have a nice time. The set menu was very good. I chose the Calamari for the starter which were perfectly cooked, not chewy or hard (as they can be) and were well seasoned. I did also try someoneâs Bruchetta which was really tasty also. For the main I had the Hake which came with a very creamy mash and a nice accompaniment which included broccoli. The Hake was really good and I ended up finishing before everyone mainly because the food was so tasty. The dessert I chose was the chocolate hazelnut cake which was very nice but Iâm not a chocolate cake fan ... but still really good. Overall nothing to fault so 5 stars. Delighted you enjoyed Shane...... thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. Much appreciated!!!kind regards,Tony McMahon

Simple friendly italian restaurant. delicious traditional dishes with no fuss. great stone baked pizza
Had heard good reports so decided to go and check it out for myself. The Early bird menu is very limited so ordered from a la carte menu. The descriptions of food is so poor and very little vegetables in dishes. We both had pizza which werenât very âauthenticity Italianâ as they are described. Skipped dessert. Service wasnât great either tbh.

We went here a special birthday treat for a friend. Service as always friendly and their mushroom risotto with truffle oil was as good as ever. We had veal T bone steaks and I must say they were a generous size, succulent and tender. The fish dishes were really very good. This is a great restaurant that makes you feel you are in Italy and treated as if you are. Highly recommended.
