We went to Dev's for tapas on Valentines Day. The food is incredible and the price is right! Everything we had was awesome. The ribs had a wonderful smoky flavor, the beer cheese fries tasted gourmet, the Scooter melt was delicious- it had flavors I would never expect to go together. The Red Dragon Noodle Bowl was to die for. It really stole the show. The flavors are authentic and are presented beautifully. I highly suggest the cheesesteak bruschetta also. Honestly everything we had was a home run. The decor is modern, clean, and the ambiance was comfy and upscale. The owner came to every table and chatted without being overbearing. She even gave us a hug before we left, what a sweet woman- she truly enhanced our visit. This really is a hidden gem in New London, and I can't wait to go back this weekend for brunch.

I enjoyed eating the 2 slices of mushroom pizza that my family-member had ordered for delivery. The crust was a little soggy but the flavor was good... at least going down. Within an hour of eating it (and that was all I had to eat) it was... how does that song go, "... workin' my way back to you, babe, with a burnin'... well, you get it. I was sick as a dog (sorry, Princess) for the next day. Not a nice way to spend your vacation. I think the name of the restaurant says it all:" ILL"iano's. In all fairness, the others (who only ate the pepperoni and sausage pizza) didn't get sick and thought the pizza was OK. It must have been the mushrooms.

When people speak about dining out at an Italian Restaurant they rarely experience dining as if they were in Italy. The American influence has changed the Italian restauranteur to cater to the American palate instead of staying true to the Italian culture. Il Pomod'Oro does not waiver in the style that their heritage and customs have been instilled by the owner, Petrit. Their chef, Bruno, has brought his Italian culinary training to America for the first time in Il Pomod'Oro. They don't believe in sacrificing quality, their integrity is paramount to Italian country cuisine. It separates them from any other restaurant in Connecticut. Not one other dining establishment does what they do, the sacrifice is to great. The customer at Il Pomod'Oro is paramount. The staff is sworn to a dining experience like no other, this is the difference. They always make me feel that I am the most important guest in the house. There attention to detail is a benchmark in the industry. Wine Selection, food pairing, cleanliness, from outside to inside they are unrivaled. The menu creativity is what places this restaurant completely apart from a so-called competitor. Once you get through the easily confused waitress and the marijuana smoke in the bathroom, the food isnât that bad. I tried a Thai Peanut pizza and it was pretty good. Prices are fair and beer is cold.

My experiences of the Recovery Room are always the best experiences. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The food is delicious. I have never had a bad meal, even tried some new food cuisines.Even takeout is a great experience. Food is prepared and ready within minutes.

Myself and 4 women had dinner here 6/1/19. Our waitress "Mo" was excellent. The place is downstairs and very nice atmosphere! I had chicken parm., the other gasl had: veal parm, feduccini Alfredo, eggplant parm, .a seafood dish and ALL of his loved our meals! Dessert was a lavandar, lemon kind of creme brûlée that was out of this world. I would def recommend this place. It was the highlight of our girls weekend.

This is a small restaurant in an old building in Groton. We had to wait about 40 minutes for a seat at dinner, but it was so worth it! My husband had the baked spaghetti pie which had sausage, pepperoni, bell peppers, etc. I had the 4 cheese lasagna. I am not a big meat eater, and this was the first time I had ever seen this on a menu. Our son had the fettuccini alfredo. The spaghetti pie was loved by my husband, and he received a large portion of it even though it was a small on the menu. My lasagna was really delicious and cheesy. I also received a lot of food. Our son's fettuccini was soooo good. The sauce was incredible--probably some of the best alfredo sauce we had ever tasted in a restaurant. We received a large bowl of garlic bread as well. There were several other items we would have liked to have tried on the menu. Would certainly return if ever in the area again!!!

Just on the western fringes of Niantic, with excellent free parking, is Charlies Place. Our early Wednesday evening dinner was a mix of Italian and American dishes that were well proportioned, tasty and reasonably priced. The dining crowd was on the light side (5:45pm ?) and the service was excellent. We had a 7pm appointment in the village and the waitstaff accommodated that requirement with a smile. We'd be pleased to come back and dine again.
