Nestled in the Golden Square Shopping Centre in central Warrington, just steps from the main train station is ASK Italian Restaurant. With the help of expert friends, including awarding-winning chef Theo Randall, they have a diverse menu that features a r
I visited Ask on a Saturday evening and thought it was a lovely restaurant in pleasant surroundings. The food arrived swiftly and was good quality and tasty. My only complaint was the tables are extremely close together, and an exceptionally loud person at the next table made it difficult to hear the person opposite me! I would visit again as I'm sure this isn't a regular issue.

Our first visit since the change of name and enjoyed another excellent meal in pleasant surroundings! Good choice of pizza and lovely flavours. Service is friendly, efficient and the manager is always helpful. Although several miles from home, it is well worth the journey for such a wonderful meal.Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We're delighted that you are prepared to travel to come and enjoy our pizzas and keep coming back because you enjoy them so much. We have slowly looked to improve the interior and make Dough and Liquor somewhere people want to travel and give the restaurant it's own identity. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

We have sampled a la carte, luncheon and Sunday feat menus. All three deserve praise. The imposing building complimented by exquisite furnishing and fittings clearly contribute to a wonderful dining experienceAlthough not new, the San Lorenzo, further enhances the "open" kitchen theme. It is quite revealing to see the chefs prepare and cook their fresh fayre in an extremely clean and tidy environmentThe staff are most helpful, knowledgeable and industrious. The Sunday feast is indeed exceptional. Lobsters, crab, oysters, smoked, salmon are att he higher end of the fayre on offer and are in abundance. More traditional hot dishes (Beef, pork Gammon etc) are readily available. All are complimented by freshly cooked traditional and also some unusual vegetablesAs one would expect in an Italian restaurant, the variety of cold meats, salamis etc and of course pizzas is extensive all available with a fine variety of salads, oils and Italian dressingsThe buffet menu is indeed extensive and you are invited to eat as much as you like, as and when,- and you are invited to return as often as you so wish. The a la carte menu is quite extensive and, unsurprisingly, very Italian influenced. A comprehensive selection of steak dishes, and an abundance of variously cooked and prepared chicken are ever present. Accompaniments inevitably include a wide variety of pasta ( wow and how they know how to serve this!) as well as more traditional vegetables. The variety of dishes is not over priced and having eaten both chicken and steak Tagliata, I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending both. The special luncheon menu offers fantastic "value for money"Although a little confusing to comprehend at first (ably explained by a courteous member of staff),- the choice is more than adequate and extremely competitively pricedI would strongly recommend choosing from the comprehensive selection of Pizzas. Our party had a selection of the many on offer. All were beautifully presented, cooked and very plentifulExcellent value for money and this fine restaurant represents an extremely exciting experience. Only one small down point (there inevitably has to be!)Drinks- Oops! Small Peroni £4.25- (Pizza £8.00 + 2 x Peroni £8.50! (total £16.50)House wine £20.00!I suppose those would say, a smallish price to pay for such a pleasing place to dine. They could be rightWe will certainly call again- often

Party of 23 table reserved. Some nice sounding meals. Service was slow but to fair the place was very busy. My wife and I settled on sirloin steak with vegtables. All sounded very nice I had the dianne my wife pepper sauce. My wife's steak was lovely, mine was quite tough and gristley vegtables andante pretty hard to chew. Kidds enjoyed spaghetti but were not impressed with prawn cocktail. Staff were nice and efficient, when I mentioned the gristley steak to the waiter he said sorry and took my plate. Nice place in need of some smarten up. Ice cream a wee bit on the small side. Overall not too bad. The birthday cake we supplied from costco was superb.

I love going to this eatery, it's a family run restaurant, the food is cooked fresh, the kitchen is open so you can see everything that is being cooked and have a conversation with the owner chef, front of house is the other owner, she is very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for her, I highly recommend.
