This restaurant was recommended to us by a risotto farmer outside Vericceli, she said that it is the best traditional restaurant in town.We ordered the mixed antipasto platter which included hot and cold samplers fish meat and pastries, most were very good, I especially liked the Tartar.We then ordered 2 risotto one with black truffle and one with pigeon breast. First itâs important to note that these are dishes for two and are pretty big.As for the taste , I hope that this is not a defamation of the dish, but we needed to add Parmesan to get some taste into it despite the dominant black truffles... the other risotto also required some improvements to the tasteThe tiramisu was bad and tasted like raw eggsService was ok despite the language barrier

We are a group of 6 people travelling through Italy. We had some time before our flight and stopped at Vercelli. The chef Ricardo and Vincent gave us a super lunch, One of the best we had over the week. We where surprised. The starters was massive and of very good Quality. To finish we had pasta and pizza which also was top of the line. Staff is very professional and really friendly. I will recommend my friends. Thank you very much Patrik for the great review!We work very hard everyday in order to satisfy the expectations of our costumers, and we are very glad that you have understood it! This was second visit to this amazingly well family run restaurant. The food is great and the service was really focused. Its a perfect place for a nice romantic meal, a family meal or a business meal.

I was lucky that was allowed to have a lunch at 14.50 - the time everything is being closed. Still, ravioli, roasted piglet and a glass of wine gave me the strength to live till the end of the day. Prompt service.

We arrived on our way to Como and had booked the Hotel Garibaldi and was very surprised to see the outside of the hotel in an rather ugly street, but after coming inside it was a Lovely Place. We had both lunch and dinner here.Lunch was Seafood Lasagna for me with lots of seafood and tasted really nice.My wife wanted a Tuna salad and it was not on the menu but no problem at all it was prepared the way she liked it and was very good. We had planned to go elsewhere for dinner but did choose to stay here as lunch was excellent and we are sure not sorry for that! We started with Parma ham and cheese and it was very good and fresh.My wife again did not want anything from the menu just boiled vegetables and again no problem and she did receive what she wanted and did finish Everything. I did order a beef tenderloin medium and had the best cut of beef I ever can remember that I had in Italy and I have been eating beef many many times in Italy absolut perfect cooked and when my beef arrived at the same time a table of 17 different seasalts and different oliveoils and other things was presented, just Amazing! We could not resist to have a desert after our wonderful meal and was shown to the front where they had an Amazing selection of deserts that all was explained in good English what it was.We did choose 2 different and if we would have had room for all of them we would have tried them all so good it was. A bottle of Red was ofcourse with our excellent dinner and I did end with a Bertha Grappa Bauriqqie. I promise to come back here this is one of the places in this World that is hard to forget.

Lovely restaurant outside of Vercelli. Very friendly helpful staff even though we didn't speak Italian they tried their best. Steak was amazing and cooked on a BBQ. Asked for well done as they serve it pink and was perfect. Good selection of wine and desserts too.

We were on our way from Milan to Liguria area and decided to stop in Vercelli for this place only since we read great review here on TA. Their website said its open until 15:00. We arrived around 14:00 and were disappointed that the place was already close. We asked the staff if there is anything else open in the area for lunch and they said no. as we were about to leave, disappointed and hungry, but then the chef agreed to open the place just for us!! This was a very nice act (in general, Italians are very nice)We had the whole restaurant to ourselves (group of 5) and the food was just amazing!!!We were treated with a fish starter that was very tasty. Each of us had a risotto dish that was divine!!! Cocked perfectly and the presentation of the dishesâ¦. I canât even find the word to describe itWe even got a petite-four for dessert.Bottom line â it was the best risotto I ever ate and in general, the restaurant was one of the best we visited during our 10 day trip in Italy.

Non mi sono mai fidato dei buoni ristorante di Groupon e questo caso che non fa che confermare questa mia sfiducia.Ero curioso di provare questo locale e quando ho visto il buono su Groupon mi sono lasciato tentare (ma questa sarà l'ultima volta!!).buono da 38,90 x un menù basic x 4 persone. Alla fine lo sconto è stato davvero minimo per mangiare 4 hamburger (prezzo alla carta 11,00 cad.) e 2 bottiglie di acqua.Gli hamburger li abbiamo mangiati ma senza particolare gusto (la cottura del mio poi era molto avanzata e la carne si assapora meglio quando è poco cotta - al sangue).Il contorno associato è stato davvero esiguo (3 pezzettini di patata).Aderire a queste forme promozionali dovrebbe permettere di ampliare la propria clientela ma se poi la qualità offerta e poco superiore ad un fast food commerciale e le quantità sono da ristorante stellato allora si genera l'effetto contrario.Sarebbe opportuno rivedere le porzioni e la politica promozionale.
