As a regular reviewer and a visitor to Yannis Taverna - Delfina in Sivota Bay for over thirty years and possibly longer I just donât recognise the reports that you have published. There has to be more to the stories than reported. Yanis, I have found over the years to be the kindest and most generous of hosts. He has always taken the lines of my 14m motor yacht, as I always moored stern to the stone quay.The 15m boat which wanted to moor on the relatively new jetty was far too big to moor alongside as it would occupy the space equivalent to three or four yachts. If it tried to moor stern to the jetty it would stick out so far as to prevent the passage of other boats getting to the jetty.The jetty was established by Yannis for the benefit of his customers. If you communicate with him and ask nicely if you may moor on his jetty he will always try and accommodate you. It is an unwritten understanding you frequent the restaurant that placed the jetty. Jettyâs further into the bay make it clear. Yannis Jetty had a sign on the end to identify which taverna it belonged to.If you didnât like the food then you may have chosen something you didnât like or you expect different service and cuisine in a remote Greek bay, which is a favourite of mine, then you are in the wrong country. Chill out. The suns out the wine is great and cheap, and the food wholesome.Treat the owners as you would like to be treated and a glass of Ouzo or Metaxa will find its way to your table at the end of the meal.If the gentleman who was told not to return after three days of FREE mooring should have enquired if Yanis would permit him to say four three nights. Sivota is a very safe bay and an excellent anchorage so if the answer was no for commercial reasons the bay is there for you to drop anchor.It distresses me to read reports of individual events which I am certain have more to them than stated.If you read this Yanis best wishes .Robert

The food as Pomodoro is amazing! The pizza is fantastic and the lasagna is like nothing Iâve ever eaten...absolutely outstanding. Everything we ate was great. Spiros was our waiter and he was the most attentive waiter we have ever had. If you are in Nydri Lefkada donât miss this restaurant!

The only restaurant next to Ammoussa beach, being the ones who rent beach sun loungers. The food is good, with fair prices, and from the terrace you can see, offshore, the island of Ithaka. It is a good place to supply on the beach with water, beer and coffee.

Situated on the central square of the beautiful village of Karya, under a huge platanus tree, Karamvoulias was the only tavern with waiting queue. The food was well cooked and we much enjoyed the "karsaniki salad" (a salad inside a toasted bread bun). Besides typical Greek dishes they offer Italian specials such as pizza and pasta - which we would prefer not to see on the menu as we sat on Greek tavern... Staff was friendly and fun!

Sailed in at midday and ate our vegan and vegetarian spread on the boat - luckily the family (2 vegetarian and 2 vegan) are great cooks and Greece has fab ingredients everywhere. But at about 6pm we felt it would be great for a treat and looked up pizza for a change and found Alexâs pizza just off the quay. What a find - we told them about our family eating preferences and they were excellent. This is a superb pizza restaurant, friendly and helpful staff, great value and a delight for vegan and vegetarian alike.

As part of a group that eats out in Vasiliki a lot, we will always recommend Zorbas! Dimitri's hospitality is second to none and always makes you feel welcome. If you're after traditional greek, fresh seafood, something from the grill, or pizza, the quality of the food never drops and there is something for everyone. The greek nights, which include plate smashing and fire dance, are always good fun and something that no other restaurant offers. Could not recommend this place enough!
