This is a delightful family owned restaurant with a superb deli attached. The dining area outside is charming there is also dining inside. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the food is to die for. Their tortellini Mugellani is the lightest and best in Mugello. The steak Florentine is superb and cooked to your taste. The restaurant only serves lunch and is closed on Monday but open till 4.30 on Sundays. A real find!

Fantastic place to eat something delicious and be on your way. The inside is rustic,with a tv...I love coming to this place to eat before going to Florence...the woman are so very nice.

Four of us looking for a meal at 8.30 pm on a Sunday came across this restaurant after finding almost everything closed in the town. It was a very nice surprise, food was varied, prices were extremely moderate and the service was efficient and pleasant. Each of us had entree and Main of a variety and were all impressed with the quality of our food. We had beer, wine and soft drinks and they too were cheap. We were the last to leave and the staff were really nice to us despite our lack of Italian. They also provided an English language menu.All in all a positive experience and I'm happy to recommend Bonaugo Ristorante Pizzeria.

Went for dinner on our first night. It is only open lunchtimes and Saturday night. What a delight. Home cooked food served in an atmospheric location. We went for lunch later in the week and every seat was filled.For Dinner we both had tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms followed by a huge steak with mixed salad. A bottle of local Red and bottled water- all for â¬58. The steak was amongst the best I have eaten anywhere.Highly recommended, we are going again next week.

Arrived late and tired. Ordered pizzas and salad.Pizzas OK but mediocre - bit dissapointing. Salad didn't appear.... possibly lost in translation?But overall friendly, lively, atmosphere.

Photos of celebrities (including a United Nations Secretary General!) hint that this multi-century restaurant knows how to prepare good food. Thirty five different types of pizza await a la carte. We enjoyed the pizza and we enjoyed the joyful crowed atmosphere yet we found it romantic - a very good place to pick. Diligent staff.

We had lunch here on a Saturday. When we came in there were only a few guests on the patio. We wanted to sit inside. The waiter (owner ?) was very unfriendly and looked at us in a way that we felt not welcome, However we were with the kids and they really liked the place (it looks nice inside) so we decided to stay.When we ordered my wife asked for a Diet Coke, on which he directly started explaining that this was only a local trattoria and they obviously did not have Diet Coke. Really strange as a Diet Coke is not something that is really weird to have and there are quite some people drinking it !? When she then asked for a regular Coke, he returned 2 minutes later telling that there was no Coke anymore and that we could have water or wine.Finally our food came, which was really good and tasty. The kids had excellent home-made fries and we had some things from the grill and pasta. Really lovely. The prices were right as well. If it wasn't for the owners I would have ranked the restaurant very good / excellent.

I went here with my wife and ordered two fillet steaks. For the price we paid, it was two awful cuts of meat. Two fillet steaks with chips, a fizzy water and a coke lite cost â¬50. No way was this worth it.Dear Sir/Madam,our tipical steak is FIORENTINA , a cut of 1,2kg of very delicious dryed meat to be cooked on the barbecue. Normally FIORENTINA is red inside but warm. Each steak has its own price that you can see inside the Menu .
