I would! We had a party of 7, and every.single.person loved everything. For appetizers, we had the seasonal salad, the Caesar salad, the zucchini salad, the Parmesan creme brulee, the risotto balls, the truffle pizza, the savory biscotti, and the oysters. For dinner, entrees included the short ribs (amazing!), the carbonara pasta, the eggplant parm, and something or other with shrimp. I should also give a shout out to the red sangria and the seasonal margaritas. We were so full, we had to pass on dessert. In addition to the food, service was some of the best Iâve had anywhere.

This is one of our favorite places. Their lasagne is the best! Pizza is pretty awesome too! They always give good service as their wait staff is very good. I only give 4 out of 5 because the hostess is terrible. In my opinion a hostess should be friendly and somewhat interactive with the patrons, but the girl that was there the last few times has zero personality and does better at helping to clean off tables than greeting people. If you want people to have a good dining experience it starts with when they walk in the door. I still recommend it highly!

Tonight we enjoyed the patio under ideal conditions. Huge hydrangas border the entire patio, effectively shielding diners from the outside. However it is the food and outstanding service which puts Nicola in a class with but a few top Italian restaurants in Columbus and surrounding cities. We will be coming back many times.

We stopped for dinner about 8pm on a Saturday after an Ohio State football game. No crowd at all but we saw a *lot* of carryout pizza orders get picked up. Must be good âza! We split an Italian Deli Panini. Bread was a lot thicker than we expected and it was pretty light on fillings. Da wife enjoyed her side salad. My Wedding Soup had great promise but came out cold. I took it back up and it came back steaming. But they donât have any hot sauce. Iâve never seen a place without at least Tabasco!?!?! They make their own potato chips which are very, very good! They have an attached gelato bar with a lot of choices. Da wife loved her peanut butter chocolate one!Go! Try it! Iâd go back to try the pizza!

Exactly what I wanted in an small, neighborhood, italian restaurant. Quiet (week night), dimly lit but enough light to see what you're eating & who you're talking to, good wine selection and amazing service! Chicken Saltimbocca was delish! Wait staff was attentive but not overbearing ( Our server Asia was delightful ) and the timing of the wine & meal was perfect! Didn't have a chance to sample the desserts but I can't imagine they wouldn't be just a delicious as the rest of the meal I sampled.

Having lived in UA for 60 years Tommyâs is about the only traditional , non fast food pizza worth eating. Their arenât any real competitors close by other than their other store on OSUs campus. And that is the problem.Customer service has plummeted to the point of taking their loyal customers for granted - after all there is no other place to go. I recently ordered a pizza and was told it would take an hour to prepare. After ordering I showed up an hour later and was told there was no record of my order. I gave them my name and phone number and they were only able to find an order from months ago. I had to show them my cell phone records to prove I had called. In the end I had to replace the order. While I waited another 20 minutes they found the original order which had an X through it. Iâm sure it was all a mistake which happens. What I found troubling was that I felt like I made the error and worse yet there wasnât even a hint that they made a mistake or felt an apology was appropriate. They even told me I called the wrong store despite calling the only correct number in my phone hundreds of times. While I waited other customers who witnessed what I went through shared similar experiences.Good pizza yes - customer service not so much.If and when there are any real competitors with good customer service near by - this institution will crumble.

My daughter is in college in Columbus, and we had dinner here after a big swim meet a couple weekends ago. Nice unoaked Chardonnay for me. Daughter had the Caprese salad and Italian Wedding Soupâbelieve it or not, the salad was decent despite the season (tomatoes). I had the new Imbrigolo Recipes Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe (cheese and black pepper). It was delish, like a nice homemade simple Alfredo like you would make at home. Classic. Server was great, attentive. Always a go to for us whatever the town!

Stopped in on a whim based on friends recommendation at an event earlier in the evening. Our server was attentive but not necessarily friendly which is fine, accuracy and efficiency are more important than niceties. Ordered Seafood Creole which was excellent and I would recommend. The name of the restaurant is descriptive of what to expect. There are more entrees on the menu than you would find in a typical bar, but the bar area makes up almost half their space and TVs are visible from most tables in the restaurant area so bar ambiance prevails throughout. If you are looking for some good food in that atmosphere as we were Gallos is a good choice.

On my recent visit to Columbus, I couldnât wait to dine at Z Cucina again so I asked our friends to make a reservation. I was so-o looking forward to the scallops again. However, this visit was a bit disappointing. The restaurant was not very busy on our Thursday night visit, but the weather was gorgeous so we sat outside. I ordered the summer salad and the eagerly anticipated scallops. The salad was fresh and flavorful but the scallops were a bit over cooked and extremely salty from the prosciutto they were wrapped in. I had to scrape off the prosciutto for them to be edible. Also the crab salsa lacked flavor and had too much mayo. However, the pesto risotto was wonderful. I was glad they had some gluten-free options for hubby. I was really looking forward to that dinner and disappointed that it didnât live up to my memories of the last visit. We want all of our guests to have an amazing time with us. We certainly should have replaced any dish that did not meet your expectations. I hope to hear from you directly so we can learn more about your experience.
