We came across this restaurant on our wanderings when visiting for the day on a very Hot busy bank holiday weekend and decided that menu looked interesting and we got a table fairly quickly luckily as it was very busy obviously and we were sat down on a table next to a lovely couple who we got chatting to as we were nearly on same table (bit snug) and we knew we had made the right decision on our menu choices as they said they ate here regularly and recommended our choices of crispy sardines as a starter and then mixed grilled seafood and chicken n seafood paella. Their dishes looked fab too mussels n prawns and a chicken dish. Our dishes arrived quickly & beautifully presented esp the paella and all delicious esp the paella which is the best I've eaten even beating those eaten in Spain this restaurant and it's staff deserve recognition for its excellent service and delicious food and its unusual dishes which make it stand out from the crowd. Very well recommended and we will come again if ever in the area again

Me and my partner attend this restaurant about once a month maybe more and everytime the food is brilliant that goes without saying. However today we visited 08/07/19 and the waiting service was terrible 20mins after seated before we were asked for drinks, then another 10mins before ordering food.To top things off the menu said peroni lager £4.40Then it stated beer/lager £3.80 I opted for the cheaper option to be told to only lager available is only the peroni charged at £4.40 unless I wanted Guinness which is not a lager I feel this was a way to force me into the higher price of lager rather than the £3.80Also the happy hour states on a board it runs all night Sunday to Thursday, when a couple asked to use the happy hour they were told it has ended, at this time is wasn't even 18:30 the waiting staff clearly over charging decent customers, who knows if there keeping the over charge or what as normally when we attend the owner is on site, but this day he was not. Very possibly the last time I visit food amazing however the service a scam

We had not booked but popped in here on Bank Holiday Sunday. It is a very spacious restaurant. We were shown to a table quickly and provided with menus. Our order was taken promptly and the main arrived equally quickly and all (4) agreed that they were very good. Decided to have a dessert, what a Menu!!!, There must have been nearly 20 to choose from. I changed my mind several time. Then they arrived they too were disgusting (ly) delicious.Great food great service great prices. What more do you want?

We were hearing good things about this little restaurant and decided to give it a go for lunch, we were not disappointed. Food was amazing and the service really friendly. I would highly recommend and cant wait to go back to sample their paella. We live close by so I wont have to wait very long.

We visited this restaurant as a group. Service was very efficient. The menu was good value with two courses costing £9.95 The portions were generous. Not CEO decor. Only complaint was the high salt content of some of the dishes. Well worth a visit.

This small restaurant is just off the sea front. Inside it is very peasant as are the lovely Man and two ladies who took turns to serve us. The young lady brought chunks of garlic bread while we waited for our order. It was not long to wait and food was beautifully cooked. Portions were good too . I had the Genovese with chicken and leeks and close to have this with penne. My husband had a large dish of cannelloni which he said was excellent. We shared a salad. My husband had a Greek beer and I the house rose . Both were good. As we paid we were offered a complimentary Amoretto. That was a nice touch. This is a nice place to warm up on a chilly North East evening.

Staying in Tynmouth for one night, reviews looked good , but OMG if this is the best god help the rest- what a shambles the service was, ordered pint Peroni & glass of cabernet sauvignon, what appeared was a pint of Peroni & a sauvignon blanc! starter fine, husbands main was ok nothing special, but my fetuchini with fillet steak, king prawns in a lobster bisque was minus the bisque (no response from chef when I queried the lack of) but they also brought a side of chips which we didn't order & sent back, need to up their game, was just a joke.Following our private conversation, Iâm sorry to hear you had a bad experience at a different restaurant in Tynemouth. As this is not a review for Davanti Classico, It would be really helpful if you could remove your comment from our page as this does affect our rating. I hope you choose to dine with us in the future, thank you.
