So glad we went here on our last night in Trois Rivieres. The best service we have had. Food was excellent. The Garlic Salad and the Blue Cheese salad were both perfect. Proper temperature, fresh local greens, and well tossed in the proper amount of homemade dressings. The Osso Buco was very nice, falling apart in a hearty sauce. I chose the "creamy Pasta" as the included side dish and it was a wonderful homemade fettucini noodle in an almost Alfredo sauce. Nice medley of veggies served on the plate as well. They had a very nice reasonable wine list, I had good Bordeaux in a 1/2 liter carafe for a only $19.00. Our waitress was a real professional who went out of her way to make sure we had a good meal, even anticipating our needs. Restaurant is in a beautiful old building, with many tables looking out on the small park next door. They have a large pizza menu and a wood stove, but coming from New jersey we were fairly certain our pizza at home was better,

My partner suggested this place after a long day of playing in a 10-hour pétanque tournament in a nearby town. We ordered the usual Québécois fare: pizza and fries. Of course it was good AND you get a lot for your money. I ordered a mini pizza and still had two slices leftover to take home. The mini pizza may look small, but it is packed with ingredients--I ordered the Greek pizza. And the fries came in a large plate bowl. The service was nice and friendly which made my experience there better--we spoke French.

Stopped in because we couldn't find the restaurant we were looking for! It was a Saturday so all the local spots were serving brunch - we were looking for something a little more substantial and not eggs. Mondo fit the bill! We had the pizza and the salmon salad. The pizza was substantial and filling. Loaded with prosciutto and pepperoni, green peppers and onion - a truly filling pizza. The Salmon salad though was the best deal - not as filling but filled with salmon, olives, greens, tomatoes, etc. and a nice light vinaigrette dressing. I recommend a visit!

When traveling with many students, it is often hard to find a restaurant that has something for everybody. This restaurant offered something special for both the teachers as chaperones and some very hungry students (from onion rings to sushi). Great service and price (children 12 years and younger eat free)!

So you've searched the world over for the perfect pizza. It's taken you to Chicago where they claim to have the best 'pie'. New York City, Sydney, and even Rome. But the best pizza hides itself in a small town right in the middle of a little residential area. You've found it, even though the locals know and keep it secret for a reason. Do not waste your time ordering other food (unless of course you can eat more than the pizza). This is it. Simply the World's Best Pizza!!

We tried Vincenzo on the recommendation of our B&B host who said it is affordable and good. They have sidewalk seating which we enjoy, and on weeknights, they have a special where you can pick any pasta dish with soup and salad for $12.95. The bread served before the meal lacked flavor. I ordered the arabiata sauce which was just Ok, and my husband had a meat sauce which was also OK. Neither was very special. We ordered a coffee and crème brulee for dessert. We almost needed a saw to cut through the top of the crème brulee, and we wished we had made the short walk down the street to the coffee shop for coffee instead.

La Dolce Vita in Trois-Rivieres! Fresh pastas made everyday, incredible Pizzas and Calzones...since 1997.Homemade sauces and desserts...Unique ambiance, service and decor. Outdoor tables in summer. A must in Trois-Rivieres.
Although we sat on the terrasse on a beautiful hot Saturday evening a couple of trips to the toilette revealed what a delightful décor this restaurant was done up with. Wimsey and colourful. We shared a small Caesar Salad as a starter then the waiter upsold my wife by adding a Scallop/Shrimp cream sauce on the veal cannelonis - overkill and over-priced at $33.00cad. I had a delicious pizza with a thin crust and great tomato sauce base with mushrooms, fabulous with a side of their house specialty William Walter spicy crumbled sausage. With one pint of beer and 2 wines, tax and tip the bill came to $126.00cad. Recommended.

We had wandered around Trois-Rivières taking in the views and stumbled across this place near to our hotel. An attractive frontage and an interesting and good value looking menu resulted in coming back later to eat for dinner. What a great place. Buzzing inside with a large restaurant area and lovely terrace at the rear where we got a table. The atmosphere was lively - just the sound of people enjoying good company and good food. Our waiter was first class, very helpful, enjoyed our broken French and was very friendly. We had a salmon pasta dish and and a prawn and scallop linguine. Our request for the green salad âon the sideâ was a bit of a surprise for the waiter who checked we wanted it â a la meme tempsâ as the mains. Both pasta dishes were excellent and the salad was a generous portion with an excellent dressing and included the smallest tomatoes I think I have ever seen! Altogether a great meal. Well done
