An amazing place! Professional in all ways; delicious small dishes, very friendly service, interesting presentations and a breathtaking view from the terrace. Beautiful surroundings. Not really sure why they call in pizzeria here on the front page. They make pizza but there is so much come to come for. First of all it's an escape from stone town to the hill with fantastic view and fresh air (make sure you take some wrap or long sleeves with you to feel comfortable). The tables on the terrance are simply great, very quite and peaceful place. The cuisine is very special. By saying that I mean that generally food in Italy is delicious but very simply cooked and served. Here it's not at all simple, all is cooked and served by very creative and professional crew. The portions are large so be careful! We'll definitely come back.

By chance,white dog lying outside in the road made me slow down...meant to be!...what a rustic friendly cracker this is...the no label red for â¬6,tomato salad,wood fired pizza of course,for two,total inc.the vino.... â¬20,love itNeed to arrive 7.30pm,couple of scoops then the pizza arrives 8ish.,gets busy after that.Used this establishment more than once...why pay more,bet it's really cosy in the winter with the open fire & the "no label wine"!

the food was really good value and the hosts were fantastic, will visit again next year. The town is lovely place to visit, head through the arch for the best views.Salve!Cene Cilentane è un homerestaurant: abbiamo un solo tavolo e una capacità di accoglienza veramente esigua. Sicuramente NON abbiamo avuto il piacere di ospitarla in quanto ci saremmo ricordati di aver avuto ospiti stranieri negli ultimi periodi. Saremo felici di averla a casa nostra non appena si troverà nuovamente in Cilento.

What a beautifully rustic and authentic little gem. We stopped on the road down to southern Italy for a quick snack. We ended up with freshly baked bread rolls, locally made buffalo mozarella (which was sublime in its taste and freshness) and some tuna bonito and a jar of sundried tomatoes. We sat on a little wooden table on the veranda overlooking the fields, farms and hills. How perfect and utterly italiano authentic - just simple and divine. The lady who runs it was so lovely and helpful and the place was spotless. Good local produce with a wonderful cheese and meats selection at a good price -well worth a pitt stop.

WE WHERE VISITING MY COUSINS IN TORCHIARA, ITALY. We first ate there and had the Margherita Pizza. wonderful, fresh, the basil aroma wonderfulAte there again, with my cousins and we had a little of everything, Pizza, great house wine, Pasta, simple fresh ingredients. The owner is a character, funny, dry sense of humor. He knew my family, place was always packed but always found a table for us.They even had a buffet, you could choose anything you wanted, meat,fish vegtables, cheese, ham, risotto so many choicesVery fast service, charming young menI would recommend to all, it is out of the way, on a crazy winding Italian road, go and enjoy

What can I say. My family and I had an amazing dining experience at Lamione the other night which has compelled me to write this review (which I never do). Upon arrival we were very pleased with the location and beautiful building that looks to have been restored to it's former glory. The night was warm and we sat outside in the comfortable, clean and beautifully lit garden area. Menu selection was exceptional with a number of locally inspired dishes as well as an extensive selection of grilled meats. We ordered an antipasti share plate (salumi, cheeses and mozzarella etc) and fried zucchini flowers; both of which were generous and delicious. Both my young children ordered a pizza each and the pizzaolo went out of his way to make them into the shape of a teddy bear - they loved the pizzas! After the antipasti and pizzas, arrived the perfectly cooked, tender and delicious tagliere of meat from the char grill which was topped with rocket - phenomenal. Before the tagliere arrived, we were already almost full. However thankfully we persevered and got through it. I couldn't let that meat go to waste. Before leaving, I also managed to cheekily pop my head into the kitchen; I was happy to find it to be spotless and of high quality. To sum up iâd say that Lamione is an elegant and well thought out restaurant that is backed up by exquisite food - it is definitely one of the best food experiences I have had in Agropoli, let alone Italy. Will definitley be going back before I leave Agropoli to try some other dishes.

Quite possibly the best food I've ever eaten in Italy. The entire experience from start to finish was extremely pleasurable. The chef/owner's passion is palpable. If you are in the area it is an absolute must. I will recommend this restaurant to everyone I know who is in this area of Italy. GREAT WORK!

We went at this pizzeria at 11pm, accompanied by local friends. We understand there is no problem to show up at this hour.First, it's worth noting the extraordinary value for money: most of the pizzas cost 5 euro each. And they are very good pizzas, with the "high" dough typical of Naples area.My pizza (can not remember the name), was without tomatoes, with mozzarella, provolone and pumpkin flowers (delicious).In few words, it's a pizzeria absolutely recommendable.

If you like mozzarella and ricotta, this experience will be unforgettable!! Of the course the cheese is freshly made and you can eat outside on the terrace. The taste of mozzarella has nothing to do with whatever mozzarella you can have tried before! So milky, watery and tasty when you take a bit from the perfectly white ball yummyyyyyyThe ricotta melts into your mouth before you can realize it. I've been to this place twice dreaming of it in between whenever I ate a mozzarella . Unique!!
