Finalmente!

Beautiful view over looking the amphitheater. Had the best wine We've ever had Bruchetto sparkling wonderful. Waitress spoke good English and we had a great time with her. Food was very good, would definitely return if ever back in this area. Makes for a lively relaxed evening.

We ate at this restaurant on the recommendation of our hosts at a nearby hotel, and had a pleasant evening sitting in the square, listening to the very loud clock striking the hours (and the halves and quarters!) and watching the world go by.The atmosphere, service and location compensated for the one or two dishes we chose that we would not select again, but we would return to the restaurant. We had mixed antipasti (which was mainly meat), fried vegetables, and green beans which were the best of the three starters. We then tried four different pasta dishes - I found the spaghetti carbonara rather heavy, but the other three dishes - with spinach and ricotta, porcini mushrooms and truffle and ravioli - were all very good. Afterwards we had saltimbocca, slightly dry chicken with peppers, and lamb chops with side dishes of green beans and aubergines. Of these, the chops were the best option and the vegetables excellent. Our meal concluded with a glass of limoncello, courtesy of the restaurant.

The steak was fabulous. It was so good we went back during our vacation here. They have a great variety to choose from. Bruschetta was very large portion and very good. We loved the appetizer we had but I can't remember the name it had Mozzarella cheese and peppers in it was spicy but so wonderful. Highly recommend it. thank you very much for your review. We are really happy to have you amazed and that our local you enjoyed. We hope to see you again soon.

My husband and I visited this restaurant mid afternoon for lunch on a Saturday. We were not only lucky to be served food so late but the service (English, Spanish, Hebrew, Italian and Portuguese spoken by the staff), atmosphere (rock music playing on the background) and food were all excellent - perhaps the best experience in Italy ever! Highly recommended!Eâ stato un piacere servirla al nostro ristorante⦠speriamo di poterla rivedere prossimamente!!

Having just moved to Sutri this restaurant was recommended to us by another non-Italian couple who have lived in Sutri for some 10 years. It is away from the main town square (Piazza Comunale) and has both indoor and outdoor seating. On our first visit we were very impressed and the food was excellent, but perhaps that was because there were few customers in the restaurant that night. Following their annual holiday the menu had been slightly changed and the cinghiale (wild boar) was excellent. They indicate on the menu that they cater for customers with dietary issues including gluten free. However the menu is somewhat limited for those looking for gluten free items. There was no gluten free pasta available and they did not offer gluten free bread. Our next visit was on Saturday evening when we had invited friends (Italian Danish couple). The restaurant was packed and service somewhat slow and in that respect did not come up to the standard of the first visit. The food however, was excellent, although I was very disappointed with the risotto. Our guests enjoyed their cinghiale (wild boar) and pork on the bone and thought it delicious. The guests also enjoyed their deserts, but there was only one gluten free option and I have sampled this previously (crème brùlée with forest fruits which is delicious).

Since Cantina del Drago opened, it has come on in leaps and bounds. Probably a year since we last went there and we will certainly go there again. The menu has been revamped and the food was excellent. The "tasting menu/menu dégustation" enables guests to try, by serving small portions, of all the dishes on the menu. For me a really good option as i am not a big eater. Every single item was beautifully served and equally delicious. One in our party oped for the a la carte menu and he too was not at all disappointed. The staff are polite, friendly and helpful, as is the owner. I am gluten free, but this was not a problem and items were adapted for me. The main question from the waiter regarding this was if I was celiac or just gluten intolerant. Fortunately it is the latter. The wine, chosen by one of our friend, Habemus, was excellent and we had a long discussion with the owner about it. Price-wise affordable since for four people, including water, bottle of wine three menu dégustation and one a la carte, (comprised of starter, main and desert) and coffee it was euro192.00, of which 65 was for the bottle of wine. In the summer it is possible to eat outside and the restaurant is situated in an old palazzo in Sutri. he building itself is also interesting and like so many of the dwellings in the town there are many basement levels.

Stopped for lunch and had what may have been the best pasta ever. Everything made with imagination, fine ingredients and cooked to perfection; apart from the reasonable cost of everything, the friendly service, the charming cozy, bohemian atmosphere, its setting right across the road from ancient Etruscan sites at the base of one of Lazio's most charming towns, the food is simply fantastic. Highly recommend! You cannot go wrong.

I went there to pick up a pizza to go, and while waiting, they served me a beer and snacks - for free. The pizza was out of this world, and I had to go back and order the exact same thing the next day - and just 6 euros. Smiling, sweet people, completely full restaurant and great atmosphere. Please stay away and let me keep this place for myself!

The restaurant looks just up to "ok", some of the chair covers were stained. The waiters were unhelpful and clumsy. We were not offered a taste of the wine (which is a normal standard) and the bottle was just left on the table. The starters:Antipasto di terra consisted solely of few cured meat slices and a chilly jam to pair with god knows what. The sauteed mussels were just not fresh. The Mains:Fried shrimps were apparently good.Fried lake fish was horrible, if you know the different species you would have realized that two out of three were not what was written on the menu. The lowest bit was the batter, bright yellow, tasted like frittata, IF and I say IF it was handmade I heavily question by who and what training he/she has on cooking. We have never been asked if the food was ok.The prices are absolutely stellar high compared to what is served.Though but absolutely accurate.
