Vitique restaurant-wine bar is located on the road that crosses Chianti Classico in Chianti. An ideal venue to explore the exceptional local products of the Santa Margherita Wine Group: wines and fine specialties that are representative of the best Italia

Newly opened vineyard restaurant in the heart of the Chianti Classico, just 3 km north of Greve in Chianti. The careful craftsmanship that characterizes our wines is also given room in our kitchen, where produce from our own vegetable garden take center s
This was one our best meals so far in Italy! Our first night in Chianti after Bologna and Florence. We did the four course tasting menu with wine pairings. Each course delightful, full of flavor, interesting combinations and not huge, heavy portions. A more contemporary approach to the food and nicely presented. The staff was excellent, really passionate about the food and wine, and definitely wanted us to have a good experience. The setting was lovely, a bit out of the way high up in the hills. We highly recommend Terreno!

This restaurant is a local favourite with wholesome, simplistic Tuscan cuisine that may be a bit too simplistic for foreign visitors. The decor is minimalistic, the service attentive (though we were the only customers that evening). The food is slightly different from what we expect from Italian cuisine, in the sense of being toned down in its flavours. But if you are in the neighbourhood, you cannot go wrong in choosing this venue. Had the grilled aubergine, taglitel with mushroom, which was hearty if not gourmet.

We are just outside of Florence. Weâve left the city behind us and have taken the famous Secondary Road n. 222, better known as the Chiantigiana, towards Siena. The seasonal menu choices are the result of careful research of regional culinary tradition: t
The restaurant was recommended to us by the nearby agriturismo owner and we were impressed by the Michelin recommendations it had received. That may be the reason though why we were slightly disappointed with the experience. The food and service was very good but to be honest very much on par with the other local restaurants. On the other hand prices were reasonable too.

Characteristic Restaurant Hotel, along the Chianti Classico road between Florence and Siena, a few kilometers from Florence. Typical Tuscan cooking, wide selection of local wines. Typical dishes, Florentine, Peposo, pasta and cakes own production. Restaur
Stayed here 4 nights and ate in the restaurant 4 nights, so impressed after our first night didn't go anywhere else. It is obvious that so much thought care and love go into the cooking of these high quality dishes, as each one is delicious and impressive. The gnocchi in truffle cream sauce was amazing and I had it twice. Whilst not a big meat eater, I was converted here and just loved the veal and steak (shared between 2) rare, juicy and tender. A huge wine selection is available and it was great to be able to try the local wines. Francesco our waiter was a wealth of knowledge and advice, assisting us with our choices. His delightful personality, friendly and happy certainly enhanced our dining experience.Dear NswAustraliaDidi, We are proud of your appreciation, and this helps us to improve more and more so that the guest experience of the Locanda il Gallo will always be enjoyable, as was yours.A sincere greeting, and again thank you for being with us

Padellina is the perfect place to enjoy the local cuisine with the locals. There is no pretension, just excellent food and service. The daily specials, which often include local game, are delicious, and quite unique to the region. Prices are a bargain considering the amount of food you are served. Visit with an appetite!

La Martella is located on the main road leading to Greve in Chianti.I had a dinner here with my boyfriend on a July night. The place is nice but quite simple. The service is good enough though not professional. We had no reservation and when we have arrived we've been promptly seated outside. Nobody asked if we'd prefer an inside table. They mainly serve meat with a very small offer of fish dishes too, one to be honest. I have ordered codfish with potatoes. My boyfriend had beans croutons and a veggie dish. Food is pretty good though simple. Prices are fair.

It was a wonderful experience to goto Dispensa and have lunch with tradition Tuscan specialities! Itâs high quality products and varieties and the Andrea Parrini the owner is a great, very simpatic and give you a warm welcome ! He can explain you all the varieties of Tuscan cheeses, hams and wines and itâs a good value for money... I was very happy to be there and I bought some bottles of Chianti wine according to Andrea Parrini recommendation. itâs a very agreable and intimist place in the heart of the Chianti ,Tuscany, I love this paese ! Grazie Andrea! Caro Amico!
