This is a nice, clean and friendly place with great pizza. It is small and cozy for dine in and they do a huge take out business also with delivery. The toppings were fresh and the portions were generous. The overall flavor was great. They have a good beer selection served by friendly staff.I highly recommend this place.

Classic family Italian place. Down to the gallery of pictures with famous people. Recommended by our Airbnb host. Seems to be a local favorite. Got seated quickly. Service was friendly. Rosemary focaccia was good. Wish there was balsamic with the olive oil though. Chicken parmigiana was excellent. It was served with butter noodles rather than marinara.... but thatâs a good thing. It was the rare exception where I thought the butter with noodles was better than the red sauce. The browned butter and Parmesan was really good. The kids pizzas were just ok. They had a slight aftertaste to the dough. I didnât mind it but all the kids did. The portions are on the larger side. The small plates are probably enough food for most people.

We ate here as a birthday dinner for me on our vacation. OH MY!!!! This place is FANTASTIC!! The atmosphere is very quaint. Casual with an upscale feel. The food was impeccable. The portions were huge. We had plenty of left overs. The staff very friendly. They were very busy, but everything ran efficiently. My Son and I had the Seafood Alfredo and my Husband the lasagna. The flavors of the ingredients and the food just melted in your mouth. We highly recommend this place.

Tepâs offers a large menu featuring all your favorite traditional Italian Fare â including pasta dishes, steaks, veal, chicken, seafood and fresh fish specials. We also offer a variety of Italian vegetarian dishes, a Pizza menu and a Childâs Portions Menu
Lynn and I and friends recently had dinner at Tepâs. Jerson, our server was very good. We both had the Chicken Parmigiana which included a trip to the bountiful salad bar. The Parmigiana was excellent (approximately $19) and came with spaghetti. This restaurant is popular. We were fortunate to be able to walk in.

Vinny's Pizza & Pasta in South Lake Tahoe offers hand tossed New York style pizza and Italian pastas. We make our Pizza dough fresh each day and our pasta sauces are homemade. We also offer delicious sub sandwiches, calzones, salads, desserts, beer & wine
Some of our group were doing the bike ride around Lake Tahoe, so we were looking for carbs. Vinnyâs fit the bill. Casual atmosphere and good food. None of us had pizza, but the lasagna, salad, bread, spaghetti, and chicken were all great.

Great pizza restaurant! Dine In, Pick Up and Delivery. Easy online ordering- with free cinna or bread stix. Great for families and groups, free Wi-Fi, outdoor seating, slices, happy hour beer specials, TVs, deals and coupons, open late, 2 South Lake Tahoe
Ordered a takeaway, we ordered a pizza and some cheesy bread, this came to $33 not including a tip which is extortionate for a pizza, we ordered margarita which came with massive slices of tomato and for some reason there was stilton cheese in the pizza which completely ruined it, they need to learn their pizzas. Disappointing

My first time here, and will certainly return again and again. I am a food lover, and will visit the lake to enjoy some excellent dinners. While surfing TA, I found this place, so decided to give it a try. An appetizer of roasted red peppers started it off...very tasty and flavorful. The Minestrone Soup was pretty good, though it was somewhat lacking in flavor, it had a sufficient supply of vegies. The main course was suggested by the waiter. Veal Saltimbocca was superb, and probably any Veal dish would be excellent. Very cute restaurant, with a lot of charm. A great find in South Lake.Hi John,Thank you for the review and feedback. Very much appreciate it. I hope you will visit us again soon! - Nick

We were two couples out for dinner. My first impression was that the restaurant was not very imposing; it appears to be an old converted family restaurant. One good point: lots of parking. But once we got down to dinner, we settled right in to a terrific meal. They have a fairly decent wine list and a full selection of classic Italian dishes. The wine is well priced - we had an Amarone for $54 that was excellent. Among us for dinner we had marsala, piccata, parmigiana and salmon. All well done, nicely seasoned and in good portions. The service was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere lively. This is a surprisingly good Italian near the heart of South Lake Tahoe.

Established in 2012, this is the third restaurant for the Tahoe Restaurant Group. The two established restaurants are Fireside Pizza at Squaw Valley ski resort and Rubicon Pizza at Northstar ski resort. Headed by Ted Kennedy and Marc Vaccaro, the company
A go-to on our trips to South Lake Tahoe, this visit did not disappoint. We were seated quickly, and placed drink orders while perusing the menu (although we pretty much knew what we wanted!). The drink order included a new "adult" drink for us, the Hot Apple Jerry (Apple cinnamon infused Sailor Jerry spiced rum and American Born Apple Pie moonshine, topped with spiced apple cider), and a Skinny Margarita (Don Julio Blanco tequila, Cointreau Orange liqueur, fresh squeezed lime juice and organic agave nectar). For food we ordered as appetizers the fried calamari; garlic chips with pesto sauce; small Caesar salad with added shrimp; and a small Pear and Walnut salad (Crisp Bosc pears, sweet candied walnuts and sliced red onions, tossed with mixed greens and topped with Gorgonzola cheese). They had a Gorgonzola dressing for which I opted, and it went great with the cheese in the salad! If you love blue cheese dressings, try the Gorgonzola dressing. For the pizza (yes, there IS more!) we ordered the medium sized BBQ Chicken pizza and for the kids a Nickâs Spaghetti Bolognese. I think that was all for 3 adults and a 4 and 1 year old! The food came quickly, with appetizers and salads at the forefront. The fried calamari was very meaty, not just batter, and not greasy at all. The Caesar salad had a generous portion of shrimps, large and plump and buttery! The pear and walnut salad is my favorite, although I do enjoy their Greek salad as well. The pears were plentiful and sweetly crisp, and the candied nuts added another layer of sweet crunch. The garlic chips are my version of a pizza, and best with the additional pesto sauce for a small charge. The BBQ Chicken pizza was loaded with toppings, and perhaps too filling after all the other dishes, but so good for leftovers that night or even next day. The kids meal was a healthy serving of pasta with shaved Parmesan on top, a nice different touch. As for the margarita and hot apple Jerry? Delightful, but I personally think the hot apple Jerry was better for a cool day - and even more better if you love cinnamon! Base Camp is a great place to relax, either indoors or on their large patio. The decor is cool, very woodsy-homey style, and the service is always spot-on; if they miss something, they quickly remedy. Our server, Corbi, didn't miss anything and met our changing demands with speed and friendliness. In fact, we are beginning to recognize faces visit after visit, a sign of good commitment on both the workers and business' part. So if you're in the South Tahoe area, try to squeeze in a visit to Base Camp - you'll love it.
