Pizza was excellent but we waited 30 minutes or more. Staff seemed scattered. They appear to do a much bigger delivery business than eat in.

We were SO hungry and knew we'd be doing some post-nuptials imbibing so it was essential to get some food into our stomachs (long car trip) before watching two wonderful people get hitched. So we called Enrico's (recommended at the front desk) and ordered a pie (only one size is served; large) and ordered our pie with extra cheese, green pepper, and pepperoni. Five minutes later, in the hotel, we agreed to have one slice each MAX; we didn't want to spoil our appetite. Two-and-a-half slices EACH later, we agreed that the PIZZA WAS SO GOOD, as if it was the pizza's fault that we exhibited such a total lack of self-control. Well, it was the pizza's fault, and the next time we're in the area we're going to stop at Enrico's and give those pizzas a piece of our mind. Via our mouths. Then our stomachs. Then our... but we don't want to go there! YUMMERS!
David is doing a great job of keeping reminders of his Dad's place alive in his tiny but productive place. Plenty of variety & specials (Italian, International, Deli, Salads, Desserts) are attractively displayed in cases. Staff limited to a few trusted employees, including his daughters & son. David is always on premises, cooking & serving customers. You can eat inside, take out or have orders delivered. My family loves the pasta dishes, I have my favorite sandwiches. Oh, & Wednesday is Pizza day, made to order!! We try to get there once a week, highly recommend stopping in for a taste of good locally home grown eatery with roots that go way back!!

This is an underrated restaurant in my opinion. I used to like Rovezzi's but they have really gone downhill in the last year, in my opinion. Avellino, on the other hand, has been steady. They have a great dining room, with lots of windows, that is delightful. Their food is solid and the wine list is pretty good. Our waiter was obviously a professional waiter -- he was great! I definitely recommend Avellino.

I am a local, and have seen a number of different pizza places. This place is so very good that it is one of my favorites! Amazing calzones- my favorite is the broccoli. Pizzas are absolutely HUGE, a party size feeds 6 people easy. Tony, the owner, blots the pizza with paper towels when it comes out of the oven so it is not greasy.Things to know- There are limited times that they allow you to use a credit card since it uses their phone line, so plan to bring cash. There is an ATM in the same plazaThe restroom is in the back- you have to walk through the kitchen, past the pizza oven, so be careful. I make sure my kids hit the bathroom at home and bring hand sanitizer for when meals come out.If you let them know ahead of time they will set up a table for you. Great place!

I have never been to a restaurant where I felt the need to give a very poor rating. This weekend we went with a group to Alexander's Golden Greek. We had a reservation. There was a lengthy delay in ordering our beverages and ordering our menu selections. Then it took awhile before drink orders were served. A couple individual's appetizers were served after they were already eating their salads. It was an hour and twenty minutes from the time we were seated to when our main course arrived at the table. We had the fish and chips. The fish was very wet and soggy so that the breading was wet rather than crisp. The fries were over cooked and like mashed potato consistency inside. The coleslaw was very good. We had asked about the delay in our meals several times. The restaurant was not overly busy with several empty tables noted. So our displeasure was known but no courtesy compensation was offered for our unpleasant experience. We're not planning to return.

I don't mind paying for quality, but this place charges too much for very mediocre food. The atmosphere is terrible, looks like it has not been updated since 1980. It's actually kind of depressing to go there, which is why I don't any more.Hi Now under New managment and i am realy sorry To hear that We would love to see you a gain and give us the opportunity to serve youYou want be disappointed Thank you

The pizza tasted like cardboard with ketchup on it and greasy! Some one suggested it to my friend and I to try while staying at the Southbridge Conference Center. I'm so glad that when we told the hotel shuttle about our visit he took us to Enrico's in Sturbridge! Talk about yummy!! I'm so glad I didn't think all MA pizza tasted like Central St. pizza and gave another place a try.

When I go to Southbridge on business I make it a point to stop in this place. The food and service is always the same. Awesome. I have had both the pizza and subs and salads. All is great. You can't go wrong. If you want great pie, go here. They'll take care of you.

Four of us stopped in about 5:30 on a Saturday night. We had reservations so we were seated immediately. Our waitress was attentive and cordial. I had the days special which was shelled mussels with spaghetti and garlic l& olive oil sauce. It was fantastic, with more mussels that you would believe. Two of the ladies had the chicken parm which both liked very much. My pal had haddock with pasta in the olive oil and garlic sauce. Everyone agreed the meal was terrific. We also had a smelt appetizer that was excellent. As always I highly recommend this place if you want good Italian.
