In short we had such a good experience at this relatively new but surprisingly seasoned restaurant as the young proprietors come from a family of very experienced restauranters. In essence the food was extremely fresh, often creative and always delicious. We're not easily impressed, quite the contrary, but credit where it is due. The food was so skilfully prepared and loved by the locals who filled the place... There were clearly lots of regulars usually a good sign. The food and wine was very reasonable and the service friendly, efficient and pleasant. We ate in a few other places in the area but liked this one so much came back for a second night something we almost never do!This restaurant has experience and quality beyond its years, is much better some of the more established restaurant in the same town and you will be delighted with your choice if you indulge yourself here.Thank you for two delicious and memorable evenings!

Well, we decided on visiting a top rated restaurant on tripadvisor... This can go either way... We were certainly not disappointed. In fact, we went twice in the week we stayed in Bussolengo! The food was exceptional. All very fresh and home made. It was clearly run by a dedicated and talented family with a passion for providing top notch food with great service. It's not fancy or showy, it is just good honest well cooked food that was a pleasure to eat. We cannot praise the place enough. Our waiter was very patient with our broken Italian! The menu was helpful in explaining what it was we were ordering! The wine was delicious, the meat cooked to perfection, the espresso was perfect and we even got some cherrys and biscotti thrown in for free, along with a free shot of home made liquor (Orange or lemon) - do please go, enjoy the food and the friendly atmosphere!

Everything you could want from an excellent italian dinner with amazing open fire grilled meats. My son is super picky, but scarfed his pancetta pasta in no time and asked for a second course (this never happens). Try the local custoza wine. Our entire bill with multiple courses for three people, water, wine, and soda for the child was still under 60 euro.

A hot Saturday evening in probably the best location Sirmione, Lake Garda and this place is heaving with people prepared to line up and wait for a table as were the 4 of us but waiting is no chore as people watching fills the perfectly.Within 15 minutes we were seated and after ordering drinks began to explore the menu which is rich in variety. We shared starters of two salads, one Nicoise and the other Tri-colore both presented beautifully with the freshest of ingredients and bursting with flavour. Most mains consisted of Pasta but I chose the Mixed Fried Fish which was fabulous but coming Fries proved to be a bit more than I could handle but with friends to share this was no problem. The House White Wine is terrific with a little fizz that makes it quite special as was the service by 2 brothers who were as synchronised as robots, amazing meal and a great night out. The bill came to a not unreasonable Euro 100 with tip.

This place is worth trying. You can choose how much and which pizzas you want to try. And there are a lot of different italian beers, surprisingly ones with rich in flavour :). I fell in love with Italian weizen. Service was also great, thanks for the welcoming atmosphere!

Came here because of previous reviews. We were not disappointed!Regrettably our Italian is virtually non existent but it was fun having the menu explained to us by the waitress whose English was non existent too. We got there. Best part was when I thought something on menu was hare. Was told by the waitress with hands flapping as ears." No Roger Rabbit".It would be fair to say that inside the restaurant it looks like something from the 50s or 60s but this adds to the atmosphere. There is an outside patio area where you can eat too.At the end of the evening had a conversation with the pipe smoking owner about whisky (we are Scots). None of us understood a word!Great fun and a great experience. And the food was absolutely brilliant

Small restaurant in a old house of 1300 placed in the green Morenic hills between Garda lake and the city of Verona. This family based restaurant offer a high quality food with meat and fish disces. Garden service on summer.
Never make a judgement based on the place where a restaurant is located. Especially not in Italy where you can find some of the best restaurants in the countryside and not in the city. Trattoria El Bagolo is one of those examples: situated in the small village of Sona, this trattoria knows how to amaze its clientele. We called it 'food made in heaven.' The linguine with black summer truffels, the 'carne battuta al coltello (steak tartare), the dolce. Everything fresh and tasty. Very friendly owners and the menu card changes following with the seasons. Excellent wines. We were lucky enough to have dinner in the beautiful garden. But in off season the trattoria is warm and cosy.

Pizzeria con posti a sedere sia all'interno che all'esterno, offre pizze con vari tipi d'impasto : integrale, classico, farro, segale, con forno a legna . serve alcolici
The pizzeria recently moved next door. The pizzeria, decorated with taste, is larger and has an open view kitchen where you can see your pizza progressing in its making. There are a few tables but you can still have takeaway. Same great quality, really a master of the pizza. Yummy and light.

Vecchia Dogana is an elegant and refined Restaurant a few steps from the shore of Lake Garda and from the ancient small port of Lazise, a charming medieval hamlet near Verona (Italy). Vecchia Dogana Restaurant provides 50 seats in the cozy dining room and
Everything at this restaurant was praiseworthy, from the room, to the food, the wine, and especially the service, as nine English speakers (and one Italian referee) undoubtedly tested our server's patience with our barrage of questions, our requests for off-menu items, and changing the order of our courses. Elegant might be the best way to describe it all. The dishes were all beautifully presented, and the flavours complex and delicious. Desserts were superb too. I wanted to go back!Dear gettingandspending,we are happy that it was a great experience for you. Thank you very much for your positive review. We look forward to see you soon again!

Situated high above Pastrengo, this fort of a restaurant overlooks Lake Garda and wine country. The inside is stunning brick with the design coordinating off little rooms with the hall. This is a large restaurant, apt for parties or just a few people. Busy place. We had the menu di Terre. Very good, especially the raw beef. Wine menu was a bit limited. Plenty of easy parking, follow signs to restaurant when heading to Pastrengo.
