I've been here for a day at the pool...we've tried pizza and it was nice.Not the best ever, but fair enough considering the variety of choice in the menu.The location is awesome

This place was recommended to us on our last night in Italy! We tried many menu items and loved the freshness and full of flavor meals!! Yummy! Delicious!!! I am hungry again just thinkin about it. The only bad thing was that it was our last night and we couldn't come back a 2nd time. The grounds are beautiful and there is lots of parking. Reservations recommended.

We both enjoyed good pasta here, the best being the spinach tortellini. It was somewhat incongruent however, sitting in a lovely dining room with white linen while in the bar next door childrens cartoons were playing loudly on the TV. Two dishes of pasta, wine/water and one plate of carpaccio cost 42Euro.

Me and my girlfriend ended up at Trattoria della Pace for dinner just by chance, as the restaurant we were planning to go was closed and passing by we saw the place and liked the menu... René welcomed us immediately with a very friendly and positive attitude and advised us on everything, from menu, to wine to things to do around Solferino. We had home-made pasta (pappardelle) with sausage and leek, pasta with anchovies and tomato and "Roast Beef alla René" (made with horse meat) plus wine, plus we made friend with people from the table beside and we had also another bottle together with them and the owner and we spent a very pleasant time in good company. I sent a friend of mine there the day after and he texted me that he was happy as well about the outcome :-) I would strongly recommend the place to anybody who is around Solferino! Thanks again René, See you next time I am travelling around!

We stayed in Sirmione but we wanted to find a place far from touristic attractions, with real Italian food, close to old castles, vineyards etc.On the map we put our finger to La Speranza and reserved our table.We didn't know what to expect.La Speranza is in the small town called Solferino. 15 minutes drive South from main Highway between Venice and Milan (A4).You will pass beautiful landscapes to reach here.Food is very good, portions are generous and desserts are fantastic.I recommend "beaten deer" as antipasti here.Meat dishes are delicious and filling, service, taste, atmosphere and wine selection are really good.We were 3 people and had one bottle plus couple of glasses of wine, 3 antipasti, 3 main dishes and 3 desserts...it was around 45Euros per person.We will visit this restaurant again, as soon as we are back to Italy.

Cercavo un locale diverso dove mangiare pesce con amici e una casuale ricerca su tripadvisor mi ha spinto qui, senza che nessuno che conoscessi fosse mai venuto..., già il primo contatto telefonico con il titolare ( x la prenotazione ) mi aveva lasciato una grande impressione, capendo la sua passione e la voglia di differenziarsi dagli altri locali. Arrivato al locale altre belle sorprese, location, distanza da un tavolo all'altro e tanti piccoli dettagli. Pesce freschissimo ( acquista la mattina il pesce che cucina la sera ), materie prime di qualità e servizio impeccabile.Provato il menù degustazione ( tutti i piatti sono stati apprezzati ) con acqua e vino illimitati ( chardonnay locale, più che decoroso...), sul rapporto qualità prezzo poi penso sia il miglior ristorante che io abbia mai provato perché tante volte ho mangiato bene in altri locali ma a cifre completamente diverse...Speso 38⬠a testa con menù degustazione, vino acqua illimitati, sorbetto, dolce scelto alla carta, caffè e calice di passito.Chapeau Riccardo, il tuo locale mi ha entusiasmato e non vedo l'ora di tornare a trovarti studiando con te un menù alternativo, peccato x la distanza ( più di 60 km) che mi separa dal tuo ristorante, altrimenti sarei sempre li...Dalboni Emanuele.

We ate here with our children and were very pleased with the taste and quality of the food. Because they didnt have a menu in English they tried to explain their menu with Tripadvisor pictures. Everything seems to be homemade, even the deserts which were also pretty good!

Very lovely restaurant situated at the central square in Historic Solverino.Nice decorated, recently renovated room, very good food and winless.Try the local famous boiled meat specialities, very nicely served.Super friendly staff, and very good value, really recommended.

Trovato casualmente in corso Mameli. Nonostante la posizione non sia molto invitante e lo spazio un poâ limitato, ci siamo fermati in questo piccolo ma pregevolissimo bistrot. Una cenetta informale con tante prelibatezze locali e non: la scelta del menu e delle materie prime è molto curata, frutto della passione e dellâesperienza dei gestori del locale che ci hanno accompagnato nel âpercorsoâ. Auguro il meglio a questo locale che non conoscevo.
