We are a Family restaurant, Sonâs of Lucia Scafidi born in Sicily and Carmine Pellegrino born in Calabria. We learned the true fundamentals of quality and family values, sharing good food with the people you love. So we offer you a table to come join us w
This restaurant is amazing in so many aspects! This is the hard-to-find authentic, family run Italian restaurant that you would travel a distance to dine in! Every dish that we have ordered there is superb, especially the fried calamari, Detroit pizza and the special 2 pound stuffed meatballs (offered on special dates.) On top of the mouth watering meals, the prices are very reasonable and the whole staff is so friendly (be sure to ask for Gina, the wife of one of the owners/chefs as your waitress! What a doll she is!). Another honorable mention is the reasonably priced wine list that includes very nice Italian wines that compliment the meals. Our whole family has embraced this restaurant as a âfavoriteâ, so much so that upon their last visit, we cancelled a 5 star restaurant reservation (this was a unanimous vote!) in Davidson to dine there TWO nights in a row. Itâs a fabulous restaurant to bring a large family to - sure to please everyone! Iâm getting a little hungry just thinking about it..... Well done Pellegrinos! We will be back soon.

Good beer on tap and interesting pizzas. Fun for kids to sit by pizza oven and play with dough while pizza's cooking. Be prepared for a longer wait, one oven and the pizza queue can be long.

Pretty good place. The calzone was hot, crisp and so much cheese and sausage. Sausage was surprisingly thin which gave it more taste. Caesar salad was plentiful and fresh. Dressing was great, nice and creamy. Antipasto tasty and so much! Very good.House salad and pizza another great choice.Like the names handed out! Brighton Beach, Coney Island etc. sounds of home!

Pomodoro's specializes in Italian American favorites and authentic Stone-Hearth pizza and baked goods. All pizzas are made by well trained âPizziolasâ (pizza chefs) using a guarded, signature sauce recipe with over 18 ingredients; then cooked in a true sto
Itâs been a very long time since weâve eaten here. The food is really good. But our server had zero personality and did not check on us near enough. We waited forever to get refills on adult drinks and I had to ask someone else for our check and a box. My kids ran out of drinks and we didnât have time to wait on the super slow waitress to come back. I apologize for the lackluster service your received. We have been working to better train our staff and are always on the look out for staff with "personality". I am relieved that you enjoyed your meals and invite you to reach out to me. I would certainly like to "make it right" for you on your next visit with us. Please give me a call (my personal cell # is on your receipt as well as my email). Thank you again, I truly value your business and critique.

Definitely not a white table cloth and linen napkins restaurant but a nice Neighborhood Italian Restaurant much like you would encounter in Northern Jersey or Ohio. It well maintained and clean and the noise level is such that you can carry on a decent conversation with everyone else in your party. Was not busy the day we were there but the service was still slow. I think our server said something about some else had called off and she was the only server. We started with our beverage order and it's a good thing I ordered 1/2 and 1/2 tea because even that was very sweet and I hate to think what the sweetened tea would have tasted like.We started out with Fried Mozzarella Sticks with Marinara Sauce. The Cheese was overcooked and while the shell was crispy, the inside had pulled away from the shell leaving a void. The Marinara Sauce was thin and did not taste anything like Fresh Tomatoes nor did it taste like any of the characteristic Italian Herbs like Basil, Oregano or Fennel. My Italian Meatball Sub was very dry and again the Sauce was the same as the Marinara. Portion sizes were very generous but the fries were a bit overcooked as well.On the other hand, my wife really enjoyed her Hot Sub and even made the comment that she wanted to come back sometime and have another. That said, we will give it another shot and will write another review of our dining experience is better.

Johnny Brusco's is proud to bring authentic New York style pizza and a variety of housemade dinners, subs, and more to the neighborhoods we call home. We grew up enjoying and perfecting pizza, and now we're sharing our passion with everyone we serve.
After a long day of travel and checking in to our hotel, we strolled over to Johnny Brusco's and enjoyed a very good pizza and drinks served by a friendly and efficient server. A really good place for a casual meal with very reasonable prices.AWESOME to hear you say so Fred! Thanks so much for your business and kind words about our restaurant and we look forward to having you back next time you're in town - see you then!
