Would give 10 stars if possible. Pasta was excellent. Daughters had spaghetti and meatballs and cannelloni, both were great. My husband had the sunflower ravioli and I had the half moon ravioli and they were both outstanding. Very small place but please don't let that detour you, it is so worth it. The owner is so friendly and funny. The only bad thing about this place was that it is so far away from us because I would eat there weekly!

I've eaten at other Buco's in the past. Bucos best days are in the past. The place was deserted; while Black rock next door was crankin. We were a couple and the 3 person portions are too much. When we decided to leave after drinks, the waitress wanted us to stay, so she let us order off the lunch menu.Buco needs to get with the time and have smaller portions. I realize the business model is built on family portions; but, people eat differently now.

This was once a great restaurant but now Iâm not sure what happened. The menu choices were odd. The food pairings strange and unappetizing. I really didnât see anything I wanted. The food was fair at best. Friday night at 7:30pm the place is empty. What a shame. It was not worth the trip. At least we had a good server.

I love this place for many reasons, but having an owner as a very experienced sommelier that can ask you a few questions and pour you your (next) favorite wine, well, that just takes it over the top! We wanted to try something different than our usual red favs: Sienna, Migration or Tresor, and she came up with a beautiful blend from NAPA ... you'll have to go ask her yourself though ;)Sit at the bar or a couch and ask for Lisa ...

It all starts with the dough â made fresh here daily. We stretch it out and hand toss it and then it's on to the building station. We add our homemade red sauce along with fresh toppings like green peppers, mushrooms, onions, basil that we get from Detroi
From the looks of this place it was promising. I have to say that the ingredients were very good however, the dough had plenty to be desired. The dough was undercooked and appeared it lacked enough sugar to brown and have any texture. Although it did not appear to be, it had very little "browning" on the bottom and was soggy.

We carried out chicken Marsala, chicken parmigiana and chicken piccata (although it was called something else). Minestrone soup was very good, as was the salad and bread. Marsala was great. Parmigiana was good but a little tough. Piccata was not piccata, the order got messed up-whatever it was was still good, but it wasnât what we ordered. Also, they said we were supposed to get sides of pasta with all our dinners but only got one. It was still very good and was a ton of food.

A must try for Italian. Best homemade bread with dipping oil. Great sauces and the chef can make some requested items. My mother ordered a special clam sauce that was not on the menu. It was awesome. Best chicken siciliano, spaghetti carbonara and mushroom risotto. Large portions so you will have leftovers for tomorrow?lol

Our go to for traditional deep dish pizza and antipasto salad. Buddyâs bread is great, too. Very crowded on weekends for dinner service. Takeout is on speed dial.

This is the best Italian restaurant on the East Side period. It is a little expensive and you should always make your reservations a week in advance because it is always packed. My favorite appetizer is the Seafood Salad. It is hard to find something healthy, delicious and full of protein. But the Seafood Salad is all of these. My wife's favorite appetizer is the Eggplant Stack. I have had have of the entrees on the menu and they are all good. But my favorite is the Lobster Ravioli. My wife usually gets Eggplant or Chicken Parm. The noodles are always cooked perfect. I love Da's!
