We stayed at the hotel on this property for 5 days and ended up having dinner at this restaurant every night. The food and wine selection were excellent. Service was excellent. The view and sunset were breathtaking. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Visited Bacco & Cerere with colleagues for lunch and the experience was fantastic! From the first taste of the fresh ricotta appetizer (pictured) to all the fresh pasta dishes we sampled right up to the dessert, this was a fantastic culinary experience. We started with the carpaccio and battuta which was probably overkill on the raw meat but both were delicious. We shared 4 of the primis among the table - all were excellent but perhaps the pasta with wild boar was the best. We tasted a local beer (Iris - pictured) which was better than expected.Seems like Bacco & Cerere is basically a husband & wife duo who do everything to make sure you eat well and feel relaxed. The restaurant has ample outdoor seating on an elevated patio - although Saturnia isnât exactly a bustling metropolis, itâs nice to be removed a bit from the action at street level.Restaurant is located right next to the main parking lot just as you arrive in Saturnia so you canât miss it. Evidently, thereâs also a wine store at the ground level which Iâm told has a great selection.

La Grotta is the nearest restaurant and pizzeria to our holiday home near Roccalbegna, so we do visit it often. We went three times this trip in both May and June. We always have a pizza and they are always great. When we first started going, ten years ago, it was never busy, now it is wise to book. This is, for us, a good sign, as it means the Roccalbegna area is thriving now with both locals visiting and tourists. La Grotta is not just a pizzeria but a trattoria too and Lucia is a fine chef and has transformed the place. If you go please leave room for her wonderful desserts too. We visited during the Christmas holiday for dinner and opted for a primo and secondo. Both were very good and typical dishes for the area. The service was timely and prices reasonable for Tuscany.

Slow service, half of the time the waiter didn't hear us. Maybe, he's deaf?..I ordered a meal - wild boar. The smell was too strong and too spiced! They said that this type of meat is quite strong... so why the hell add even more spices then???Wine was bad too. We founding better wine in other restaurants. Grazie,però se Lei non gradisce i sapori forti mangi un petto di pollo.Purtroppo,il nostro aiuto di sala è vermente sordo.Dovremmo forse rifiutargli il lavoro e la possibilità di portare a casa un tozzo di pane?Giudichi chi leggerà .Danilo

We stayed Close by in Semproniano, at Locanda La Pieve Hotel. We have always saved a night out for a great dinner, and have never been disappointed. The Chocolate Salumi for dessert is a crowd pleaser, save room !

Yum, Sunday lunch. What can I say, just a really nice and wonderful dining experience.The menu is very well rounded and comfortable. Filetto is a must try. They have excellent Tortelli that they make themselves as well. The atmosphere is quiet, and dimly lit, and we emerged from here feeling like we just walked out of a spa treatment. Just a really nice and relaxing experience overall. Absolutely recommended....get involved!

Had often driven by but never stopped here, somewhat concerned by other reviews talking of grumpy service. Stopped for lunch on Christmas day and had a wonderful time. Outstanding, prompt and truly warm service, timing of courses was just right. Had the mixed antipasto, then a truly outstanding plate of gnocchetti gorgonzola, rucola e noci, and then a roast pork fillet with artichokes. Very good carafe wine (local Morellino) and homemade deserts. No complaints about my baby daughters wandering around being friendly :-)

Great restaurant set in a quaint village we came across on the way back to pienza from saturnia. The manager and chef were very friendly, good honest people, the house wine was delicious, the tiramisu and pannacotta to die for and just 3 euros! The mushroom and ham pizza was so good we had to order another one! Definitely no tourist trap!Thank you so much for your review. We chose for our costumers a short menu in order to provide an high food's quality.
