Reviews on Italian food in Seattle, Washington, United States. In Seattle you simply can’t skip the Central Public Library – a modern architectural marvel of glass grids, unusual shapes, and a “book spiral” that climbs four stories. Stroll over to Pike Place Market to visit the original Starbucks and play catch with a fishmonger. In the heart of the city lies Chihuly Garden and Glass, which will dazzle you with its colorful and delicate works. Glide to the top of the Space Needle for panoramic views of the surrounding mountain ranges and Puget Sound.

Great upscale Italian fine dining near Pioneer Square. Very competent kitchen and wait staff. Classy seating areas inside and outside. Had a good Brunello with my meal, after a tasty and refreshing Manhattan cocktail. Then veggie antipasto, followed by veal. Had cannoli for desert; a little dry but ok.

Pamper your soul with the sensual pleasures of fine Italian wine and food while you marvel at the Michelangelo-inspired artwork.
I have eaten at Assaggio many times over the years of visiting Seattle -- never disappointing; quite the contrary -- always excellent. Their appetizer of spinach with pine nuts is not to be missed!! Not inexpensive but worth every penny. That said, it can be crowded. Reservations are a must. If you are lucky, you can chat with the Mauro, the exuberant owner -- he's great.

We visited this restaurant as part of a food tour in Seattle. The owner of this restaurant also owns the Steelhead Diner, not too far away. We especially liked the polenta appetizer and the puttanesca. This venue was a little far from Downtown, but easily walkable from our cruise ship port. The Italian items are highly recommended.

Two friends joined us here for dinner on a Friday night and we absolutely loved the food. Made from scratch, the huge portions brimmed with flavor and perfectly prepared pasta. Small salads with fresh ingredients came with the entrees. Two of us chose lasagna and two opted for pesto ravioli. I thought my ravioli was exquisite, stuffed with Parmesan, ricotta and asiago cheese and tossed in a mixture of avocado, hemp seed, basil, lemon juice and garlic pesto. A generous amount of cherry tomatoes and macarona almonds finished off the dish. I sampled my husbandâs lasagna and considered the marinara sauce to be outstanding. Our friends had nothing but positive comments about the same dishes. We all passed on the tempting desserts, which included gelato from Fainting Goat, my favorite Seattle gelateria. Service by the pleasant, professional waitstaff proved to be faultless throughout our stay. That said, the kitschy atmosphere with myriad objects hanging from the ceiling, including a variety of chandeliers, a happy birthday sign and a miniature wooden airplane, did not appeal to me. But the food more than makes up for the decor and somewhat shabby interior in this old Wallingford building. The loud recorded music in the fairly small space made it difficult for us to hear each other throughout dinner. The restaurant only accepts reservations for parties of six or more and only Monday through Thursday. So we went early at 6 p.m. and found just three tables occupied. By the time we left at 7:30 p.m., however, the place was full with about 15 people waiting outside for tables.Plenty of free street parking exists in the neighborhood and we found a space right in front of the restaurant.

These folks are awesome. Not only was the service stellar from each person who came to our table with food or water, but the salad and pizza slice were terrific. There are dietic options available too for those who are gluten free. I loved the hole in the wall atmosphere with a full bar and small tables for diners. I used open table to reserve a place and would recommend doing that because the line was out the door for lunch on a Friday. Can't wait to go back - heard they are moving to a larger location down the block soon.

Each day, we create a tasting menu inspired by the season's ingredients gathered from our garden, farmers, foragers, and the sea. The price of dinner is $157 per person.
I have a great night with the really wonderful culinary journey, with each dish beautifully rendered, tasty and memorable. The most amazing is however the wines paired. I went for the Classic pairing and it is well worth it, and the sommelier is very knowledgeable on the Italian wine regions and the wines. He is also very friendly and giving me many other wines to try during the course. No wonder many rate this restaurant as one of the best in town...

Opened in August of 2008, Cascina Spinasse captivated local and national attention for its authentic incorporation of Piedmontese dishes, including handmade pastas and use of local and Italian ingredients. Spinasse, is open for dinner from 5:00 pm- 10:00

The Pink Door is an independently owned (never cloned, never genetically modified) restaurant that has been quietly dedicated to fresh & local Italian food since 1981. Its seafood & produce driven menu has been the central theme throughout its wildly popu
Down the stairs off the Alley, folks leaving said "eat here"! My sweetie had Risotto (roasted butternut squash and sage) and I had Dungeness crab meat on a Caesar (large and chunky lettuce) salad with with "Truffle dusted" croutons although I couldn't really taste any truffle. They had a good selection of wines and I had a Tramin, Sauvignon Blanc from Alto Adage, in northern Italy.

Enjoyed sharing Caesar salad which was ample as a starter. My wood fired pizza w sausage was very good. They also have pasta and other Italian food so itâs much more than a pizzeria.

My large Italian family was visiting Seattle on the birthday of my niece and nephew. Buca was recommended to us for a dinner celebration. It was a cute little novelty place. The meals are served family style and large in size. The food itself was decent but I would not consider it good. The atmosphere is light and fun. It was a good choice to celebrate the kidâs birthday, considering we were unfamiliar with the area.Thank you, 922dlp, for dining with us at Buca di Beppo especially for such a special occasion as your niece and nephew's birthday celebrations. We appreciate you sharing your feedback about your dining experience with us. We're glad you enjoyed your visit and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
