Things to do in Satu Mare
i saw this place several times, but last week was first time i've eated here. the staff is friendly and they try to serve you ASAP. I tried pizza and pasta. Pizza is average as taste, maybe even above other places in Satu Mare. The pasta are better. Desert is not something special, so not much expectations than it is.
The restaurant is located in the central zone of the city of Satu Mare, next to the County Library. We have a variety of romanian and hungarian traditional cuisine, and also european.
Is nothing spectacular on this restaurant, the location is relatively good. The dishes are good and promptly served. Is a low budget restaurant, probably good for organizing family events.
Câest tout simplement la meilleure glace de la ville je connais cet endroit depuis au moins 20 ans et les goûts ont pas changé avec les années câest toujours la même dame qui les fabrique un régal
Satu Mare Food Guide: 10 Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Satu Mare
A beautiful new evening with the family. Beautiful location and close to the center. The cool and green terrace. Friendly staff. The food was excellent. Very beautiful presentation. I ate salads, pork, chicken, burger and dessert. All cooked with taste and looking very good. Prices were affordable. I highly recommend this location. The restaurant is on Iuliu Maniu Street.
Restaurant Bistro-Pizzerie,
Great for people watching! Decent food! Unfortunately the wait staff is mediocre. Seems this is pervasive throughout most of Romania! They don't seem to understand they will be tipped in accordance to how they make the experience pleasant. Their demeanor is as if customers are an inconvenience.
Best Eastern European food near Satu Mare, Transylvania, Romania
In the heart of Satu Mare (not far from the hotel Astoria we stayed) we have found this hidden restaurant. Located in a basement and well decorated as an old inn, this restaurant offers a wide variety of traditional Romanian food.We have ordered *) "Mameliga cu Brenze de Burduf" which is a traditional dish made from boiled ground corn with special Burduf cheeze & creem, *) "Chorba cuperishuara" which is a soup with meet balls*) GrillAll dished were great, the service was good and the price (with drinks) was about 20US$ for both of us.We warmly recommend the place *** I'm sure I've mistakes in spelling & saying the Romanian dishes names.

We came for dinner at 7.30 pm and the restaurant was closed. No schedule posted. All the websites informs the customers that IS OPEN NOW. Try to contact them on 2 different phone numbers and nobody is answering. Very disapointing.
Their pizza is one of the best in Satu Mare! Olive oil used when preparing! And trust me that makes a difference! We've only had home delivery so unable to comment about the brick & mortar location. What we can attest to is that the food is tasty & the delivery prompt & friendly.
Went there for an early dinner with friends, the service was very quick, helped us decide what we should order. The food came in no more than 15 minutes and we were impressed. We are a bunch who travel a lot but honestly, it was one of the best dinners we've had lately. Food extremely tasty, you could taste the freshness and also generous portions. The place looks nice and clean, there is plenty of room between tables so it does't feel crowded.Very pleasant surprise, can't wait to go back! Worth a trip to Satu Mare only for Capricci :)
