Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Sarajevo. Bosnia and Herzegovina's fascinating capital Sarajevo nestles among dramatic peaks, a bustling and welcoming city. War took its toll, with the 1992-1996 siege hitting hard. But the lively, diverse, museum-rich city has been almost entirely reconstructed. Don't miss Bijambare caves, set in thick forests and amid lakes to the north of the city, or Bosna Springs, from which the country takes its name. Site of 1984's Winter Olympics, Sarajevo offers spectacular skiing on Mount Bjelasnica Jahorina.

Nice environment, very good food, home-made pasta and pizza as specialty, and affordable prices. Very kind and friendly staff, owner/chef coming to the table to recommend meal and explain the food. Not the easy to find and limited parking just on the street infront of the restaurant, so better to go by taxi (every driver knows the place).Recommended!!!

A little away from the tourist old town restaurants.. but worth the walk. A few embassies nearby but still seems a normal neighbourhood. It wasn't too far from my hotel and so went back after the first good experience.I had a shrimp salad and the goulash pasta the second time. Both good. The place looked busy, but not too busy. Outside seating available under roof keeping the sun / rain out. Service was good, friendly and attentive.

Surprise tasting menu at Hedona Wine Club we concentrate all our passion in making a tasting menu that allows you to discover our history, our tradition and our concerns. We also want to spread our taste for gastronomy, especially for the deep respect we
This place claims to be the only vineyard and it certainly commands a great view over the city. The family hosts were very friendly and helpful in explaining both their history and their current wine collection. We tried the tasting menu which was generally interesting and tasty but with one or two minor flaws like pistachio shells in the pasta that prevent me from giving the full 5 stars. All the dishes were well presented and tasty but none really stood out. The same was true of the wines which were of a high quality but not outstanding. Thanks for your honest review, which give a warning to care more in kitchen.

Restaurant Tavola is located in the center of Sarajevo, in the passage of the main street Maršala Tita, and is an ideal place for a quiet business and family lunch&dinner isolated from the noise of the city. Decorated in authentic Italian style, Tavola Re

Small trattoria serving beautiful pastas and salads, also a few kind of amazing creps savory and sweet
Small restaurant in some distance from the old city and main attractions, but soooo worth to visit. Maybe this is not a very traditional Bosnian restaurant, however the food served is excellent. They also have local, craft beer, not just some popular massively produced ones. The service was very nice and helpful. It is also possible to eat here something vegetarian which is not easy in Sarajevo. Very recommended.

Let us explain why we are Superfood. Seriously, it was not our intention to sound pretentious, but we just wanted you to know from the start that: -We would never let our kids, family, friends or future friends eat something that was not prepared on olive
New twist on an old recipe - klepe as a starter followed by veal flambé with cognac accompanied with caramelized baby carrots and potatoes with truffle oil and parmesan cheese. Finished the evening off with a rich chocolate mousse.Friendly, laid back atmosphere, and great food every time.

Bon Appetit Sarajevo was born out of a long-awaited desire by two colleagues whose pursuit for culinary excellence and hospitality never seemed to be satisfied. Throughout their years of restaurant experience and exposure to diverse approaches to the culi
Every dish was amazing! I had mushroom puffs as starter with crispy wild mushrooms, duck breast with blueberry sauce and semifredo (a soft ice cream) with walnuts honey and truffles. Each dish was tasty, creative and different from the offer of other restaurants in Sarajevo yet wholesome. The staff is very friendly and the place is cosy. In the summer or suNny days the outdoors terrace is lovely. The restaurant is non smoking and that's another rarity in Sarajevo!
