It is recommended restaurant in Santarcangelo. Good food, great hospitality (very friendly for the kids). You can try local cuisine and home made desserts. House wine is very good quality (they produce it by themselves).

Osteria del Campanone is a truly unique experience. Climb the stairs up to the magnificent bell tower, nearby you will find the âThe Campanoneâ stretegically nestled on the side of a hill and offering spectacular views of the Adriatic Coastline. This little osteria is legendary among locals who are willing to queue for hours to eat traditional piadina served with a range of quality prosciutto, used. Eats, cheese, seasonal fruits and vegetables. Be sure to get there by 7pm if you donât want to wait for a couple of hours for a table. And please donât be in a hurry, the owner will serve you when he is ready. Bookings are not accepted and people are seated and served on the basis of when they arrive. Also take some mosquito deterrent. If you want a truly unique and traditional culinary experience, this is the place to go!

We came for dinner to this lovely restaurant in the heart of Santarcangelo di Romagna and found a nice table outside. Inside seating is offered in various different rooms and areas - all with very special interior. All service personnel was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The beautiful town of Santarcangelo di Romagna Sometimes gives unexpected surprises like this interesting restaurant. The service is excellent and kind, very professional also in the explanation of dishes and drinks. The menu offers beautiful surprises that are never dull, the ingredients are of excellent quality and the presentation is really well taken care of. The garden is definitely the place to recommend if you go in the summer, medium-high prices, but it deserves them.

This restaurant in situated in a small square, partly lined with linden trees, which were in blossom when we visited, so the evening air was full of a wonderful perfume.We received a friendly welcome here and were given a choice of tables. The waitress was at pains to spend some time explaining the menu to us - our Italian stretched to Hello, Goodbye, please and thank you, so we would have struggled otherwise. She was very sweet and even went off to look up some items she wasn't sure of in English!I wasn't desperately hungry, so I asked if I could order two starters - one instead of a main course - and this was greeted with 'of course, no problem'. Have to say the portion sizes are generous. The selection of local cold meats and cheeses was served on a long board and there was almost enough for two people - my husband helped to finish it off. I had the tartar duo as main, which was really good, but lacked a piquant element, like gherkins or capers, which would have elevated the dish in my opinion. The house red was okay but not exceptional, however, the Lemoncello was to die for, absolutely delicious. Homemade, in a second-hand bottle with the makers name and date of production written in marker on the old label. The bottle was left on the table for us to help ourselves. This is a busy restaurant and during the evening it filled to capacity. It is obviously popular with locals as well as tourists too.This was a really good dining experience, not least because of the excellent service. I would be delighted to dine here again and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

We are looking 5 days for one really tipical Italian picceria. Of course we found many nice places, but Antonio is under our exoectations. We left Antonio with only one decision-we come back...no words to explain all . All I can say-place you must visit. Thank Antonio for nice eveneng- group of six satisfed people from Slovenia.

Just out of the center of Santarcangelo on a corner you can find Amarcord. We got there by chance, but they have really tasty piadina and cassone, the typical street food of our Region Romagna!

Both the food and the atmosphere was very good and the staff is quite friendly. I gave only average, but just for price that for this kind of place is maybe just a little high, They offer a not so large menu with regional dish prepared with natural ingredients, there is a little farm, and pasta is home prepared.
