Things to do in San Bruno
Down a non-assuming street, next to a pizza delivery store is where you find JC Bruno. Step inside and you are transported to a cozy and romantic restaurant. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The quality of the offerings was superb and flavorful. After our meal, the chef even came out to talk with us. He spoke of his journey as a chef and how he came to be at this location. I will definitely return here again. Be prepared to hunt a bit for parking.

Thanks to Luis and Luis, both my servers. I was traveling solo and appreciated the extra attention to make me feel at home. I had the sausage and veggie on polenta. The dish was fine with nice bits of fresh zucchini and would have been enough for two. I would have liked a selection of more Italian wines by the glass, but I guess I am in California. They were very generous with their Chianti Classico. Iâd had a rough day and a bit of extra wine and tlc turned that around. It was the outstanding service and homey feel made this restaurant special.

Great food every time i've been [3]; out waiter Luca was very professional- there when you needed him, but not hovering. another server was learning [perhaps the language- as it seems most of these folks are actual Italians. They care about things. the atmosphere is an old bank- so only so good- but we were not stuffed in where we couldn't have conversations. the food was fantastic; the last time was the best; my wife and i split a ceasar salad, she had seafood/ shrimp linguine, and i had a nightly ravioli special. it was all excellent. Good wine offerings and suggestions and very reasonable prices for what they were pouring. they make their own pasta. beyond just the waiters there are other cook/ manager types coming around to make sure it's all as it should be. They cared- i was impressed.!it use to be San Fran had some of the best Italian outside of Italia; now South City can join that crowd.

This is a great down home Italian restaurant. The food is excellent along with great customer service. Great place to get together for late lunch or early dinner. I had the Ravoili & Meatballs. Someone else had the Penne, Spinach & Pollo. All the food dishes that passed by us looked really good! I went back 2 weeks later for take out. My take out bag was heavy it was filled with extraâs. Yes! I will be returning for the best Italian food in the area. Oh! Try the Minestrone soup There is plenty of street parking. The restaurant is small you might want to call to see if reservations are needed. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. You can also purchase wine with your meal. OâSole Mio is a restaurant for one, two or a large family.

Stopped here for lunch after checking into our hotel. Found the restaurant to be clean and pleasant. We ordered house salads and pizza! The set ice was great and the pizza excellent! We throughly enjoyed our experience. I strongly recommend this great neighborhood restaurant.

This is a hidden jewel for Italian food in South San Francisco. Worth the travel from San Francisco. Authentic Italian food, great service, free parking. We had the Tortellini Alfredo with pancetta and the chicken piccata. It was so tasty, which we left some for the next day. Highly recommend this location if you are in San Francisco or traveling through to the South on CA 101.

I first went to Buon Gusto over 30 years ago when I was living in SSF. Went back for lunch with visiting friends today. It not only had phenomenal food (we had the special sole in a lemon caper sauce) which was a generous portion of perfectly cooked fish, but I remembered the waiter who has been working there for over 30 years!Hi Dlh,Welcome back and thank you for all of your kind words. It's wonderful to hear that your lunch was phenomenal and our server took great care of you. We hope it isn't 30 years before your next visit.

We were at a hotel nearby for an early morning flight. No great dinning option around, the front desk recommended to order from Zorba. We got our awesome Pizza delivered directly at our room door in timely fashion. Very tasty.

A friend suggested this place and accordingly, delicious pizza. I beg to differ! Unfortunately, I didnât agree with her. A medium pizza costs $28 while small size costs $26. Their pizza is a little doughy and nothing special. It is also oily. With the tax and tips, our medium pizza which is 6 slices costs me $42. Way too expensive for a mediocre pizza.

We came for dinner before a red eye flight. It wasnât very busy for a Tuesday night, but it didnât matter because the food was great! They customized spaghetti and meat sauce with a little light cream which made it a pink sauce. My family has the Fettuccini with chicken. Everyone loved their food. We didnât need appetizers or dessert because they served a lot of food.
