Ottimo locale in cui passare anche solo per un caffè o un ghiacciolo. Se si passa una giornata al torrente setta è comodo da raggiungere in pochi minuti di auto. Personale gentile e alla mano. Consigliato!

Agriturismo Castagneti is a small holiday location nestled in the gentle middle of the Appenino Tosco-Emiliano, only 10 minutes drive from the Highway A1 and 40 minutes from Bologna and Florence. Our restaurant is the expression of the simple country life
Devo confermare la mia recensione di un anno fa... Sicuramente migliorato il servizio. Piatti molto buoni e ben fatti.

Food is really tasty. Portions are perfect, so after first course ( I had pasta - tortellini con patate (incredible)) you still have place for second. Meat was also excellent. In the end ate mascarpone, that was right finishing of lunch. Place is very cosy and small. It's really homemade food. And noticeable that owner and people who works there take care of quality and pleasant of guests.

We visited this restaurant one year ago and decided to visit again yesterday because we had such a good experience the previous year. This time around the food was even better than we remembered! The waitresses all speak English and made an effort to explain the menu to us. All the dishes are freshly made, taste phenomenal and are affordable. I highly reccomend this non touristy restaurant to anyone that wants a real italian dining experience with a lovely view.

We stayed at the Albergo Poli on our third night of walking the Via degli Dei and although a basic hotel, the welcome was the best we experienced during our travels. All the staff were constantly helpful, served with a smile while nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are basic but the essentials are there; a functioning bathroom with lots of hot water and a clean bed.The restaurant was excellent with great options based on local ingredients I had the bistecca and it was very good and perfectly prepared. The pasta courses to start (were also great).Worth a visit for the friendly smiles

well, it's not REALLY robert deniro who owns the place but he sure does look like him (except he's better looking according to my wife!). this was a wonderful little find that we found three years ago when we exited the florence-bologna autostrada at rioveggio, found places were closed on the main road, and wandered up to montorio (thinking we were lost!) where we found tratorria antica. we liked the meal so much that we retraced our steps three years later and had lunch there again. they make wonderful pastas whose sauces depend upon the season. this fall we had a scrumptious pasta with a broccoli sauce which we actually tried to make (fairly successfully) at home. (i think) my wife had a spicy eggplant based pasta this time around which was also delicious. the previous time when we were there in summer, the dishes used summer vegetables. anyway, despite the fading memory, the food and the view is wonderful from this restaurant and it's well worth the detour off the autostrada.

The restaurant has several locations , from 2 to 90 people , and is very suitable for dinners and group meals at the same time to spend a romantic view of the structure in salt which can then be devoted to tables without removing the privacy and tranquili
One of the highlights of our holiday - perfect pizza, antipasti, steak and desert. The kids think it's the best pizza they have ever had in Italy. Steak was stunning. Great place for families, and on a weeknight was very busy - for a restaurant in a wee village that speaks volumes. Very reasonable prices too.

Wow, what can I say....fabulous food and wine and lots of it all featuring mushrooms and truffles. Pasta....steak...eggs...in an amazing setting. The staff were friendly and clearly passionate about their food. Dessert was a selection of sweet treats with grappa and limoncello....if you want to eat here you will need to book well in advance (we booked a month in advance). Amazing....fabulous....truffleicious!!!@

Small and cozy restaurant in the wood house of the agriturismo with outdoor terrace. Emilan and Tuscan cousine, with wild boar, venison, porcini mushrooms, truffles fresh from our forests.
Local food, prepared beautifully and tastes amazing.Relaxed setting, homemade fresh warm bread was a bonus. Local wine is great, try the red sparkling for something a little different. The truffles are fresh and left unflavoured, so taste amazing. The peppermint and ginger liquor is a must!
