I picked up lunch from here today, having stumbled across it the night before, when the queue was huge. The first thing to say is that everyone queuing seemed to speak italian which seems a good sign. I queued for about 30minutes. They offer a good selection of different burgers, focaccia, chips and I wasn't sure whether there was also pizzas as my italian is non existent. Burgers are between 2-3 euros and everything is cooked to order. The bread is excellent and not your typical burger bun. The three guys in the kitchen were rushing around like mad men!

Lovely restaurant with nice staff and tasty food, but portions are enormous! Weâd have been ok with one portion between 2. They should offer small sizes or warn how big they are as there must be so much waste. We were offered take away containers but if youâre in a hotel thatâs not always possible.

Quite often TripAdvisor lists the same place under different names because of confusion by reviewers or variations in title or language. There are more than 600 reviews available, good and bad, if you look for the listing with the Italian spelling of 'ristorante' rather than 'restaurant'.

When we first began coming to the Italian Riviera regularly, some 24 years ago, the coast of the narrow Province of Liguria was studded with Michelin starred restaurants from the French Border to the Tuscan border to the Southeast. Now, many of those restaurants are gone or demoted in the eyes of Michelin. Of course, back in the old days there was no TripAdvisor, Yelp and the like; one relied on Restaurant Guides that came out once a year. Perhaps not as many people are willing or able to pay the price of high end restaurants, and the current style is more informal. San Giorgio reflects the quality, elegance and courtesy of an earlier age. San Giorgio retains their Michelin Star, and deservedly so.It is a great joy to have the kind of truly professional waiter that has nearly disappeared in most restaurants today. The elegant old house of San Giorgio is a treasure trove of antiques and historical memorabilia. The terrace overlooking the towns of Cervo, San Bartelomeo and beyond is spellbinding. The food is very good, if not spectacular. The wine list is deep and fairly priced. The emphasis on the highest quality ingredients, prepared simply but elegantly, is a reliable formula. You eat well here in an establishment that understands and honors the culinary traditions of the region. The prices are fair for the quality and the presentation. I hope they will be around for many years to come.

you can experiment several types of the typical "focaccia" from the Liguria region.Service is fast, food is good, location is just in front of the see and there is also enough place to seat down and relax.Overall a good place where to stop for a quick break

Good place for a lunch break. Very kind staff. The tables are just a couple of steps from the sea. Normal salads, great pasta with homemade pesto.

This restaurant has a sort of Medieval them, which doesn't quite work. The staff are in cotton shifts with a St George cross on, and the food might have been great for big meat-eaters but left us with little choice. Not cheap, either!Sorry for my bad English, I am Emilio the owner of Ai Secoli Bui. I think it is difficult to satisfy all tastes of our customers, usually people come to us for the actual quality of the meat, our strength! we do however also appetizers, soups, pasta, pizza, focaccia and something fish. The price of our meat is directly proportional to the high-quality of the proposal. We hope to have you for our guests to try to make you change your mind on our work.

Having stayed locally on an extended holiday, my wife and I have eaten at Le Nereidi on many occasions. The staff have always been friendly and the food excellent value and attractively presented. Our final dinner for this trip was a wonderful platter of anchovies and thinly sliced swordfish prepared with a spicy marinade, which we shared, mopping up the last of the sauce with our bread. Then my wife chose a risotto with squash flowers and prosciutto crudo (Parma ham) that had been cooked on the grill to achieve a beautifully crispy texture. Meanwhile I had the most tender roasted beef that had been cooked in aromatic herb butter and was served with small potatoes cooked in their skins on the grill too. The flavour was sublime and the meat just melted in the mouth. I was easily persuaded to have a dessert of a delightfully creamy homemade tiramisu, which my wife gladly shared! Afterwards we had coffees before chatting to the owners about when weâll next be back.

A nice evening above the Mediterranean in the nice atmosphere of the La Femme. We had menu degustiazione for one and Antipasti and secondo piatto separately. It was prepared accordingly but a little design-oriented more than extraordinary taste. The pulpo crosta though was excellent, the different dips/cremes ( as well as those accompanying the raw fish platter (nigiri) nevertheless were boring. Vitello tonnato was a good portion with lots of tonno taste. The roasted fish then was very tasty and excellent together with Ligurian vegetables. The desert was again a little boring and unambitious. Over all we had a very nice evening, service was friendly and efficient, but to be honest we had a little higher expectation-maybe next time.
