This is still my favorite Tony's on the Great Lakes Bay region. The servers are friendly and the portions are reasonable. We love breakfast for other meals and our omelettes and sour dough toast were delicious! They had just the right amount of filling. Highly recommend.

Visited with friends last week expecting a great "Tony's steak sandwich". Not up to par. Meat was dry like it had set on the corner of grill until one was ordered, Sauce was sparse and grilled bread was burned. Our friends also said their sandwiches were pretty bad.I will say that generally Tony's in our area are great, but sorry to say, low marks for this location. Also, floor was dirty with food scraps and paper around the tables.

What are the three main qualities you look for in a restaurant? For me, they are food quality, atmoshere, and service. The new Artisan Urban Bistro excels in all three! As you enter the venue, you are transported to one of those hidden, small, classy restaurants you might find in a larger city like New York or Chicago. Tastefully decorated and upbeat are good descriptors. The menu is weighted toward Italian, but other fare is offered as well. All ingredients - even the flour used to make the great pizza crust - are brought in fresh daily or specially imported. We shared a specialty pizza that was exceptional in taste and quality. Others in our party feasted on offerings from the extensive pasta menu. Rave reviews all around!Service was excellent from our well trained, pleasant, and knowledgable waiter who was not overbearing while being right on top of things. They don't yet have any liquor license, so we brought our own wine and while the $5.00 "decanting fee" was a bit off putting, it is, I feel, legitimate. Prices, overall, are very reasonable.Be ready to be pleasantly surprised with this "find" in Old Town Saginaw! Ciao! The website would not allow me to "check" a rating for service, food, and value, but all receive 5 stars!
We opted to try the new Italia Ristorante in the Block Plaza (just off M-46/Gratiot in Saginaw Township). We were very impressed, very nicely decorated, a smaller, intimate setting. Reservations may be needed as they pick up speed but we were able to be seated immediately on a weeknight. Service was a little distracted but was pleasant and attentive, so maybe just needs more experience. We started with the garlic knots appetizer- bread dough with dipping sauce, which was freshly made and very tasty. I had a small side salad, which was good. The house dressing was excellent, a little sweet. Our main courses were spaghetti and meatballs and chicken fettucine alfredo. These dishes were prepared very well and were very tasty. Portion size was just right- I did save some of my alfredo and I saw others taking leftovers. Some of the best Italian we have had. We will definitely go back to try other menu items, including the wood fired pizza. The whole dinner- appetizer, two entrees and a side salad and one soft drink was less than $40, so quite reasonably priced for the quality and quantity of food.ThankYou !

This was my first visit but it will not be my last. The meal selections are very good and the dessert portions are unbelievable. The service was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Parking may be a little limited but take the time to find a spot because it's worth it!! It's important to keep this type of family owned business open and flourishing so be like me and make it a first visit soon!! I'm certain it won't be the last time you stop in!!

Only had the shaved French Dip sandwich. Bread was too thick, roast beef was good but could have been more on the sandwich. Served aju which was salty tasting. We had with fries and they were fixed the way we ordered them (portion small). This is supposed to be a little more upscale restaurant. Donât live in the area and donât think will go back again. Wait staff was very good, no complaints there.

Pizza That Just Tastes Better... Milanoâs Pizza has been made great by the amazing customers that just keep coming back. Day after day, week after week we see the same faces and many new ones. The idea is simple. If you use top quality ingredients and hir
Best quality and flavor around by far, compared with lots of mediocre chain-store pizza in town. Can't beat their 2-for-1 deal, lots of great taste for a super value! Consistently our first choice when we're craving a delicious pie. Love that they're open and deliver later than most. Hope they offer online menu and ordering soon...

Pizza Pi R usually round, anyway, and that's the shape of things at G's. You need no reason to go to this place other than the pizza and breadsticks. The pizza is excellent, a good balance of sauce and cheese, soft, chewy crust, and they are very generous with the toppings. My personal favorites are the peperoni and sausage or barbecue chicken and bacon. I am told that their veggies offerings are very good also. The breadsticks here are the best I have had anywhere, ever. They are so good that they have their own name--"spears"--rather than being called simply breadsticks. They have a soft texture and the original version is dusted in parmesan and garlic. I had the ribs once here and they were also quite good. The pizza is so good, however, that if you love pizza you may never try anything else. They do have a full menu, however, and I wouldn't hesitate to order any item on it. They also have a full bar with a big beer selection. The service here is always courteous and usually very efficient. The prices are competitive with the chain restaurants. I recommend G's very highly for a family dinner or with friends or even on your own.

... however our experience today was exceptional. Surprised there was a wait, we were seated before the 20min. est. given. (c. 1pm.) Immediate service by the hostess and then by KAYLA, and her quiet enthusiastic service and information was invaluable. The menu is far more extensive and flexible than I recall which led to my being overwhelmed by the choices. Her explanations and encouragements were needed and welcome. She was able to clarify and explain all the options my wife and I were curious about. Our orders were brought promptly and our comments were encouraged. It was obvious that this menu was well thought out and that this waitress had great knowledge and pride in the place. The salads were incredible. The soup was rich and full of warmth. The entrees were beautifully presented and the pace of service, even with the crush of patrons, was wonderful, We were never aware of any time matters. Everything was paced so well and presented so well, we were away from our daily routine and in something very special. We will return ....
