We had dinner here on a super cold sunday night. As a few other reviews said...a bit anonymous and not so cozy. The area inside could be improved, because the main feeling is a bit like entering a canteen, with green horizontal stripes and very strong and bright lights. The menu is simple, easy and honest. I had pisarei: my plate was huge but the taste wasn't much there.The thing is: i would support 100% a nice, simple and budget restaurant, but i can't see the study, the efforts. Even if a place is cheap, there's bazillion of things that can be done to make it unique.Ill try it again on the outdoors when the summer comes.

Very friendly personnel in a restaurant which already has been managed by the same family for 45 years. Great, tasty and fresh food! Certsinly a place to come back.

I think that it's a typical italian tavern which has nice atmosphere, good price and good food quality (fried dumpling, tortelli, pasta, meat, desserts, ecc.)

I like this place. It has been tastefully decorated inside, rare around these parts! The menu, whilst including Piacentini classics, has something different. The ingredients are always fresh, we love the pickled vegetables: Has a good wine list too. The only complaint is that they are still learning! Sometimes there is some confusion and waiting time can be long but I'm sure this will improve as time goes on.

Great place on the river, good service, poor food, great prices. If you want to spend a couple of hours in a very nice place expecially in spring and summer with a gret view to the river tis is a place for you expecially if you do not care very much to food. good choice of wines is not enough.

Nice and elegant location inside a charming medieval village and close to the castle of Rivalta this restaurant .Outstanding service, food , atmosphere, local wines.Not cheap.A great place for an anniversary dinner or to mark any special occasion. This was our third time . Last year we enjoyed a fabulous dinner for the New Year's Eve Parties with fantastic fireworks around the Rivalta 's castle .

We Caffè Grande to have dinner the evening before attending a wedding. What great place! We had dinner outside in the Piazza. Wonderful tasting insalada and tortelini. We also had some good wines recommended by the staff. Polite and friendly waiting. Absolutly a place to return to.

We opted for this pizzeria as its well known as one of the best in the valley. I was there many years ago but i barely remembered it. The restaurant is actually a house, cozy and simple. A few more efforts could be made to improve the finishing of the place, but i reckon it is their will to keep it that way. There's a wide choice of pizzas, all the products origins are specified on the menu. A few specials of the day/week make definitely the list of most recommended. A nice choice of crafts beers complete the uniqueness of the offers this pizzeria has.Pizzas are made to order and in front of you. I can say for sure that their doughts is one of the best i have ever tasted and overall their pizza is amazing.Prices are just a tiny bit over the average, but you definitely know where that extra money is going, and its worth it!Congrats and keep it this way!

Last Sunday I had the pleasure to spend my evening with a couple of friends at the Castellaccio. My wine experts friends have selected some spectacular wines that unfortunately were too sophisticated, for my palate, but I made the effort... The food was great and the service impeccable. I have ordered a main as starter and since I saw the frogs on the menu I decided to give it a go. I was catapulted back into my childhood when I used to go and catch frogs myself in my grandparents farm and then my nan threw them in a pan with just a dust of flower... For me this could have paid the bill. Thanks Graziano and his lovely daughters, I will see you again soon!

Authentic Italian dinner organized by very nice people. Ingredients from local farm, tasteful dishes and a surprising sparkling red wine. Excellent!
