Unexpectedly good Italian food in Remscheid. We were visiting locals and staying at the hotel next door. We expected reasonable Italian food but came away surprised by both the quality and the portions.For our pasta course, we had the Orecchiette Broccoli and the Rigatoni Salsiccia Fungi. Both were fresh, cooked correctly and tasty.For mains, we had the Salmone all Griglia and the Frittura di Pesce. Fresh and wonderful.Combined with good service, this was a good dinner.

We were there for business lunch.We ordered pasta not from the card,we just told what we would like to eat.We received great,fresh,homemade pasta with aromatic ingredients,real Italian style.I would never expect so quality,authentic Italian food in small German city.Wine and service were also superb.

Besser und liebevoller kann man als Gast nicht umsorgt und verwöhnt werden! Das Essen schmeckt immer hervorragend, die Zutaten sind frisch und hochwertig. Der köstliche, samtige Primitivo aus dem sonnigen Apulien ist zum Essen die perfekte Ergänzung. Dazu dann noch das wunderschöne Ambiente auf dem alten Lenneper Marktplatz, besser gehtâs nicht!

First, I must say that we have only used their take-away service. The food is good, very nice dough on their pizzas, the pizza rolls are great. The trouble with Totoooo is that they have often got our order wrong; forgotten the peppers on a spicy pizza, left out the garlic, no onions on a tuna and onion dish, etc.

We went to Saro for a family meal and it certainly did not disappoint! Staff were amazing, food was delicious. The portions are very generous and so no one had space for dessert. The antipasti platter and the seafood carpaccio were amazing. Everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked wonderful. Certainly will have to go again to try out more dishes.
