Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Quito. With a rich pre-Colombian history, Ecuador's capital was founded on the ruins of an Incan city but offers everything a modern traveler might need. It remains the least-altered historic center in Latin America and has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Quito’s important sites include baroque gems like San Francisco and Santo Domingo monasteries, as well as La Compañía church and college. This huge city sprawls across a breathtaking Andean valley surrounded by volcanic peaks.

Delicious variety of pizzas, pasta, salads, desserts and coffee in the authentic italian style
Went there because I was near by and because of the good evaluation on TripAdvisor and was not disappointed. Spectacular thin crust pizza, large portion so that also adults donât leave hungry and very attentive service. Didnât have such good, Italian style pizza in a long time! Go there when youâre in the area or are desperate for good pizza!

Somos una pizzerÃa y panaderÃa italiana; trabajamos con masa madre, una levadura natural muy antigua y procesos de leudación muy largas para que el producto final sea digerible, rico y durable. También tenemos muy ricas cervezas artesanales quiteñas. PIZZ

This is probably my favorite pizza in Quito. They deliver too! We typically get delivery, but decided to go out and our experience was great. We did not have a reservation (didn't realize we would need one), but the hostess said if we could be in and out within an hour that she had a seat for us. So, I recommend a reservation. We received complimentary bruchetta with our meal. We got the salami and arugula pizza. The arugula seriously adds a punch of freshness to the pizza. I will definitely return. Also, I feel like the pizzas are pretty fairly priced with what's available in the area. Check them out! So good!

We lived in Italy for three years, and one of the great things about the culinary scene there was that you could easily find simple, everyday restaurants, with absolutely delicious food. Thatâs what Al Mercato brings to Ecuador. Seeing it from the outside, the place, located in the lovely piazza of the bustling suburb of Cumbaya, looks almost like a hole in the wall. Inside, the space opens up a bit, with a casual, wood-accented decor. The real star is the food. Simple Italian food, executed to perfection. The lomo fino is one the best cuts of meat in the city. The egg plant parmesan is amazing. The lasagna bolognese superb. The tagliatelle with osso bucco ragú is delicious. And the dark chocolate panna cotta is a great way to finish. If youâre in town, and donât mind having a great meal, try it.

Authentically Italian since 2004. We serve high quality food and drinks in very casual and colorful environments. We are located in two of the best shopping centers in Quito. Mall el JardÃn and Scala Shopping.
I remeber I used to love this place and it was my favorite Italian restaurant by far. However, the last time I went there after several months and I ordered pizzas, I don't know what happened, but I didn't like it at all. The pizza somehow was tasteless, and it had few toppings. This was the first time I visited the Mall el Jardin restaurant. Not sure if ti was that or the rumours are true, and this place has decreased it's quality.lguerrero54First thank you for your comment and visit. It catches our attention to receive a complaint about our pizzas. Anyway, we take the suggestions very seriously and will proceed as in the whole structure to review what happened. Our quality remains the same or better than in 2004, when we started. We appreciate and hope you visit us at another opportunity.

Cosa Nostra is a "Trattoria - Pizzeria", a typical italian concept. The menu is divided into a pizza section and a pasta section with a large selection of dry pasta and fresh home made pasta like gnocchi, ravioli and lasagna. Cosa Nostra uses only organic
After a week of enjoying Ecuadorian cuisine, we wanted something familiar and âcomfortable.â We found Cosa Nostra and it was just what we needed. The food was excellent. The service by Victor and Boris (or Maurice we not sure) was attentive and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The owner Paola dropped into the restaurant and chatted with us a couple of times, also checking to make certain our meal was as we ordered. We would highly recommend this restaurant for an excellent Italian meal.Dear Donna, Thank you very much for your wonderful message and review. We are so happy that you enjoyed been at Cosa Nostra Trattoria Pizzeria. I also enjoyed meeting you.Thank you once more and we wish from all of us a wonderful holidays. Of course, the food was excellent and we wound up eating here three times while we were in Quito. And yes the staff is excellent and go out of there way to please you, but for us, the best reason was Cristina Vizcaino. She's a hostess, a helper when serving and I guess a front end person. It was her personality that made her so outstanding and kept us coming back. Every business needs Cristina. The pasta is homemade as is almost everything else. We had meat dishes, pasta, salads, and enjoyed everything. Before we received our check they brought us the best gelato I ever tasted. If you're in Quito and don't eat here you will be missing a fantastic meal. Thanks Richard for your opinion, we always look up to serve our costumers in the best way we can. We are very proud for the staff we have, opinions like this are those that show us that what we do is pleasing to our customers, since you are the most important thing for us

One of the most famous Italian restaurant in Quito Ristorante Carmine It was with good luck that when Chef Carmine returned to Ecuador he found an old friend who was leaving the country and who had began the construction of a new Italian food restaurant i
We had dinner here on our last night in town. We were a party of six and were seated very quickly in the semi outdoor area. I had the penne with meatballs and I could not finish the whole dish because there was so much. The service and ambiance were great and it was nice to meet the owner from Salerno/New York City. It reminded me of a restaurant from my youth on Long Island.

You can eat delicious and healthy, with selected ingredients for good salud.En Cafe San Blas you can enjoy a fresh and handmade, with a cozy like home. Open from 6pm to 10pm.
We were very impressed with our first visit here. We had a Caesar salad (big enough to share) and lasagna. All excellent. We returned the next day for pizza and were disappointed. Skimpy main ingredients, way too much cheese, limp crust. We left a good portion. The atmosphere is pleasant and service excellent. It's clean.
